I hope staff is looking at Ultra these days, and how you within the rulse can transfer cash from rich miners to guards with the food market. Seing a guard with 400k base PR who can build between 50-100mil PR and constantly reappear on the rich list, cant be acceptable. This has to be stopped in the coming updates. I dont think not letting guards buy food will be enough, since you can just transfer cash with minerals instead. The only solution would be to even out the economies, so they are on the same scale and ship upkeeps are on the same level for all races. Otherwise blatantly obvious credit transfers should be made punishable, and rank control would just be about having a few rich miners and a lot of guards they transfer cash to.
BTW I thought that being a game guide you were supposed to lead with example and not intentionally abuse loopholes in the game (caugh caugh... Ren). |

I`m sure there is no intention of money transfer here! Buying food at 26 as a guard makes perfect sense and Ren just happened to clear the market afterwards. |

I blame a slight influence of alchohol. I just like to clarify that I never in the past (to my best knowledge at least) tried to channel cash to Pete or someone else in that way.
I know it is not against any rules, but I would call it a loophole in the game and I created this thread in a hope that admnins will address this issue in the coming updates. |

I don`t know where you get that accusation from but I guess that`s what`a to be expected from a college student (I hope you grow up at some point!)
I don`t mind opposition... That`s why we haven`t accepted Shadow and others applying for that past years, to even the server out. But off we didn`t count on you guys using those tactics.
Sorry about the game guide thing, I just remembered you as a guide at some point at hoped that would make you play with someone of conscience and moral, but I guess I was wrong. |

@the arti issue- I know that most old empires have nothing better to do than just dig dig dig, so here`s an idea: put caps on every level of arti. Unique has one, rare has a totally different one, etc, etc.
@the market issue- I`ve noticed these transfers all too many times. And 85% of the time I see Guards pop up on the rich list. I like TBK`s idea and support it.

99+ day(s) ago | While I like it, if I were to grand dinero a guard x100 or 255 as some like to do. It would limit the guard a little as far as building to fight because of their income path currently. You would have to fix their income generation to make that a viable solution. Problem would then be the artifact equation is how I look at it. |

Regardless, the transfers are pretty rampant, and not just on turn based. (And we shouldn`t get those ridiculous ships for successful uw`s) |

99+ day(s) ago | I`m not the only one buying food at high prices, You should look within your own fed as well. For me its easier to buy at high prices (thanks to miners ridiculous tax mod) than to de-pop. Especially with the lack of ore on the server, and my over 5,000 loyalty I have no interest in losing.
And sure, I can do 300m-900m damage with the 600 turns I get in 48 hours. That makes a lot of sense! It`s even worse on other servers. TB is entirely dependant on artifacts. Whoever has more wins, no if`s and`s or but`s. Unfortunately for a very long period of time only certain people could have said artifacts. If a newer empire is posting food at high prices and profiting from playing the market, I`m not going to feel bad considering half the people playing ultra have to try to deal with Drei and Zwei, one of which is the single most broken ship available to players of any race currently. |

99+ day(s) ago | Ren, in all due respect, it was known as an issue and was addressed by admins in one of their posts. However, to allow it to continue to go when those who had done it have stopped and now having others do it doesn`t help the situation at all. If anything to say an update with fill that is all and great, but that could be next month or next year. Instead it should just be a honor system if we are going to go be a "polite" member of GC society.
For the other statement, you could have stopped them but either didn`t try to or you didn`t have the opposition needed to do that. I get that you don`t like the UW ship handouts, but I am not sure how that part contributes to the issue at hand which is legal market transfers. |

99+ day(s) ago | Eh? I find it interesting that Achilleus of all people should be complaining about something like that, considering it`s a loophole in the rules that was invented by himself and Pistillate (among others) on the same server. I certainly didn`t come up with the idea.
I entirely agree it should not be a thing though! Maybe the updates will fix it and things will be good again :).
Entirely on the other side, I`ve been doing good for a long while now about not super trash talking, complaining, etc, being a polite member of the GC society, and in theory I`d like to continue that, being I`m an adult these days...But I do feel the need to give my 2 cents.
The whining since you can`t rule TB with 0 effort due to being the only people who can dig is really extreme lately. I`d thought some of you better sports than this - Is having Zwei handed to you without opposition not enough of an advantage?
Also I`m most certainly not a member of staff and haven`t been for some time. |
