To answer AA`s point about how I reached an about 1:1 ratio - I took the artifacts used + the attackers and compared that to my defenders list. Thus, AA I understand you don`t want to say congratulations to me, but I enjoyed getting to see you fight.

99+ day(s) ago | Arch I actually think MK and DIST made the alliance back when Rabies were allied to CC and some other fed I cant remember because you wanted to do a UW (was it Blazed maybe??). At that point you were massively outnumbering us but during the past years too many on your side have gone inactive... (The returning HB as an example). The same happened for 2900 on fast some years ago.
I think the powerbalance is bound to switch once in a while on RT. When I started CC was absolutely dominant... lets see when the tables turn again. We try to make the most of our advantage at this point. |

Thanks to all Attackers as well who made it contrary to Arch post very difficult for us to defend! Nearly all defenders used their resources, cash and artis in order to make it happen.
Thanks as well to all M/K`s and my fedmates for being as active and supportive and be online whenever they could from mobile phones, during work etc.
This has been a truly amzing UW and it reminds me how much fun this game is ! |

But sorry, I would not say congraz on this one. I`m not sure how you reached the 1:1 ratio. But it`s certain that your side have a much higher number of active players on RT defending while on our end we had couple of dedicated players attacking. Not really a fair play. Of course, nothing is fair on this world, hence kudos to you for having so many players standing with you.
To all attacker, thanks for not bowing to the dominant force in RT. Although the few scattered players would not win majority of the war. However, the challenge give us the joy of fighting in GC. We tried, we lose, and we will try again. |

First off, I want to say thank you for giving me a great opportunity to finally do this on GC/RT. The Last time I faced a problem like this was when I was UW`ing in 2007 (ironically around this same time - Thanks Surinami for reminding me). That UW was for Chronic Conquest that also faced the imperil doom of guards and heavy rank fighting down the last 4 hours and lost due to unforeseen consequences. It is finally great to achieve an UW on each server I played competitively on as this will be my 3rd successful UW.
Second, a shout out to the opposition, the strategized plan you had done on day 1 and on day 2 was on point, interesting to experience and gave me a great adrenaline rush to see this UW through win or lose.
Third, a shout out to my defenders, while some would say, Distemper doesn`t need M|K and vice versa, by looking at the server numbers of defenders to opposition coordination, it was almost a 1:1 ratio of the combined alliances. I think by 2 feds defending against the numerous opposition is logically the only way an UW will be successful on RT. If it were say 2004-2006, this would be a different story as there were multiple alliances. Thank you M|K and Distemper in believing in me on pushing through this UW and dealing with my insane moments of calling shots and keeping me awake.
I will provide all the stats (artifacts, cash, reserves, etc. in separate post from this one.), but I will add a few questions I have gotten from the opposition.
Do you even sleep? (From Helmsdeep)
- Yes I do, I slept for only 4 hours for this UW and then rode the rest of the way awake.
How did you survive at base? (Multiple asked this) - This was when I was at 500k pr and with 2 planets
- I just got our of my historia barrage by Eternal of -1200 turns. Unfortunately I may have dosed off until the moment my dp refresh was going to quickly build the 45 Kyros that then put me in this situation. So I asked for a scorched earth in ranks to explore |

This was one of the better ones I would say. A fierce opposition with Arch as always as a dreadful opponent and I think the succes balanced on a knife edge with around 9 hours left and Omeg at base in -1600 turns and our arti stashes almost empty. I think 50 more hists at that point and it would have been over.
But congrats Omeg, supporters and attackers alike, I think all put up a very good fight and we really had to dig deep to get this one through. I know I have some arti stores to refill at least and I really hope AA and Eternal do too :-) |
