Seems like this was too much of a challenge for the server. Cant be many hours before its impossible to end this.
Makes me wonder - what are you guys doing down low, if you aint preparing shooting at UW`s? |

I had to go back to our old forums to find that and a few other things mentioned in here that might need a little clarification, not to sound like an behind but to more fix a few behindumptions.
1) The historias - was in 2009 when Gronoria, Africa, Naruto, Gilead and myself were getting hit weekly or biweekly with 10-20 historias. At that time it was pointless to waste our BTCs on that matter. It was until MD`s UW did they kind of die out.
2) M|K was technically there and around, but not a large presence, as state already EoE and DoTV/DOD were fighting for the ranks from 2005-2010. Only until after 2900 happiness and Binuaral Alliance, could you argue that between the 3 feds there was an M|K presence.
Gron lost interest and died out, I have lost contact with him. Last I heard from Gilead was when he UW`d and had a kid I think. Africa and Loof I still am connected with because they are good friends.
3) EoE didn`t fall technically due to historias, it was more replaced or absorbed by other feds. Sure, I could have come back, but I was focused on slow and RT heh.
I miss playing EVE with Loof and DM, those were fun times.
Anyhow, always around to lurk on forums :) and not to seem like I am correcting anyone, just adding more from my own personal opinion with some forum posts from the Eden forums to back it up. *Yes I still manage it from time to time and Founders had at least 18 pages of battle logs just for him* |

Yes there was decent opposition for a while but then Arch left and Labrat RIP, then Atreides and a few others and everyone else who stayed lost interest. |

@ Sibi - You can dig them up faster than a non BTC using person can burn them. And do you have any idea how long it takes to make an enemy burn BTC`s, while they are severely outnumbered and their enemies have entire fleets set up to begin with, and 2x? It`s just not enough fun or possible enough to make it worth it. I`d rather enjoy my time at fast xD |

99+ day(s) ago | Grono pretty much ended his involvement in Fast when we killed his UW. That was the last UW to come up against serious opposition if im not mistaken. It looked like it was going to go off untill a few people donated BTC to help me build over 100mil lyth and do enough damage to cripple his efforts i logged off and was pleasantly surprised to see it gave the rest of the server the drive they needed to kill it off. Things have gone down hill since then. Like Ren said i too just mainly use turns for fum/improve my empire i have had more fights since the uw went off than i have in the previous month. Uwing on this server is pretty pointless unless you just want your name in hall of fame. Its a shame but i cant see this server coming back to life :( |

Yeah I remember Africa recruiting us to EoE and for a long time fighting DoTV and that other fed I cant remember the name of (somehting with "Chaos") from below because they were far superior in number. Eventually we all get bored and go inactive and things change.
Im sure you are partly right about the arties Ren, but I dont quite see your point. Yes, im maxed out in almost every type, but thats just because I never have to use them... being more players the opposition should be able to make us use the BTCs/Hists for something other than just blowing them up. At some point even I will run out :) |

99+ day(s) ago | Cant say if MK was estalished at fast before 2007 and by another person than loof. I know he re-established it at fast a couple of years ago.
About EOE - Omeg was already falling out when i started and never really participated in the figthing from that point. Grono went inactive around 2010 i think and during my time he was never historiad into VM. He left the game because he ended up having too little interest in GC and too much IRL.
In 2008 when I made 2900 EOE did not dominate the server. For quite a while DOTV and and EOE were fighting to gain control of the ranks. And in the end EOE together with 2900 and binaural alliance came out on top and have had the ranks since then. |

B) As I recall 2900 never had opposition. They were formed towards the end of EoE, and EoE fell thanks to Omeg and Grono being forced into perma-historia VM and general inactivity and leaving the game of it`s members.
I mean sure DotV has always been there, but even when EoE was alive you can`t exactly say they`ve been great. |

Ill give you a bit of the history behind: 2900 happiness used to be the sister fed of Executinors of Eden (EOE). It was founded because i couldn`t get a spot in EOE when i joined GC in 2007. Africa made Masta and I play the game, and they were in EOE. EOE contained what i think of as the best TB players that i have played with during my time here in GC, and much of the approach that has made 2900 so dominating we learnt by playing with guys like especially Africa, Grono, Drunkenmaster and Gilead.
2900 happiness is a tv-series. The fed was given this name because we had a coorporation at EVE-online with the same name. In EVE this name was created to annoy loof who was also playing EVE and didn`t like this TV serie - so quite not-smart actually, and by no means a cool name. lol.
2900 is not related to MK. A couple of years ago MK was established by loof at the fast server and we ended up fighting each other because it was more fun this way - no fun in joining the winning team. Not that I want to argue against the fact that the fed today contains the same empires as MK at other servers.
Its interesting think of that most of the time during the past years we have been outnumbered and yet remained on top. |

99+ day(s) ago | The only fix for TB in it`s current state is a reset and fixed dig times. 90% of the people capable of digging during rare/uncommon time are on one side.
I`d bet my empire on fast at least two people in that alliance have max BTC`s, I`m sure at least 1-2 more have 100+, and I`m certain some of them also have max historia`s.
You can`t fight that. You can`t fight it normally, you can`t fight it during a UW. Especially when you can`t dig.
For us, it`s easier to just use turns for fun, and not care about the server. For me personally, it`s basically why should I care if MK blows up another one of their empires? They get little benefit from it, and it doesn`t affect anything. There`s no glory in it, no ones going to praise you for doing a UW with no opposition, the hall of fame is worthless now. It`s pretty silly.
I suppose the real question is, why does MK still even bother to do UW`s? |
