Indeed. While it was purely an oversight on UFP`s part not to historia PP from the start (due to his reputation at foiling several of our UWs), the truth of the matter is that people whine about artifacts when we used historia to our own advantage, but then no one says anything when the UW sponsor gets the same historia treatment.
And I agree with SIB, without BTC (or with a nerf), the dominant feds would be able to UW each of their members with much greater ease simply by controlling the ranks. Under these circumstances, UFP would have had far more successful UWs than we currently do.
So please, PLEASE nerf BTCs and STC so UFP can start winning more UWs. Maybe then we can galvanize enough people to oppose us seriously enough that they might actually be MOTIVATED TO CHALLENGE OUR CONTROL OF THE RANKS.
If you don`t believe me, watch what happens when you have two UWs on different servers start within 48 hours of each other, and the first one is successful. In such a case, the UW opponents (and defenders) lose any ability to use artifacts until server refresh, which can be as long as 24 hours later if the first UW explosion is timed right after the next server refresh. |

I`m for more of something like SD wants - either reduced storage capacity or lessened effect on TB servers, ie STC`s do 10 turns on rt, 8 on ultra, and so on down to 2 on slow. |

As for arties there should be a reduced storage capacity on all servers for certain artifact which may get addressed after other pending updates....*sigh* |

99+ day(s) ago | Ren with your logic it would be impossible to kill UWs on TB servers. The fed controlling ranks could just build up to 200mil and be 100% sure of a boom because of the low turn regen. Does that sound more fair to you?
BTCs are the possibility for stopping UWs on every TB server, which is exactly as it should be. The only "unfair" thing is the placement of dig time, but it doesnt look like its gonna change anytime soon. It is still a huge advantage being in control of ranks, as you can sit and use your turns exclusively for digging/researching instead of getting borders.
Removing BTCs would be equivalent to granting the big feds a "free-UW forever" card. So no, it doesnt strike me as silly at all that ppl can reinvest their turns (at a horrible ratio) in times of a UW, as they otherwise would be much to easy to do on TB servers. |

99+ day(s) ago | I will always put up an effort to prevent anyone from UWing. How much fun do you have playing this game if no opposition is there. This is a problem across servers. Any n00b can get a uw if there is no opposition. Just look at what happened a couple of years ago when accordex and MD had their uws at fast.
I also need to mention. The only reason me and sib managed to do this was because we coordinated everything we did. This is what it means to be allied. You have a common goal. Sib used more than 30 btc on me i think, because my marauder empire is more powerful than his terran atm. This was what made most sense. In the past Grono, Africa, DM and Gil would have done the same. Today i rarely find this attitude. |

Without PP and SIB, this UW would have been a likely success due to the lack of motivation from the REST OF THE SERVER in its own defense. This, I am confident, is a fact. :) |
