99+ day(s) ago | Oh dear..if I cared about what other people think every time I got clusters or VM-ed, I would`ve quit long time ago. End result justifies the means after all, as long as its within the rules, and I see neither VM-ing to protect clusters or VM-ing to avoid counters considered against the rules. That aside, this is not the case with Pete, however, as he really needed to VM.
You guys are hillarious :p We`ve got to love some whine every now and then, I guess. |

99+ day(s) ago | You are right atreides.. you cannot know whether I speak the truth or not. But the fact that i VM`ed across all servers might have told you that i did not VM because i was affraid to loose my clusters to you, but simply because i was going on vacation. lol
For the future we expect everyone to carry a GPS that can reveal their REAL position when the VM in this game! And a print of any transactions made on the Mastercard along with statement from the local authorities telling you were at the current position. :D |

99+ day(s) ago | Atreides: What you say is.. it is not ok to go into vacation mode, when you go on vacation to foreign country with you family, because you should be able to find a way to get on the internet there. (Did you consider that I maybe did not want to bother about this game for a couple of days?)
Anyway - it makes me wonder. In what situation is VM ok?
I guess if you travel on antarctis it would be ok - as there it is harder to get on the internet there. Or maybe if you decide to climb mount everest. :D |

I dont know anyone had max their research in FAST. im still at 177 total but you cant expect me to max it considering I fight at some point.
And how do you bring down high PR player Omeg?... spend BTC ? LOL . you cant really expect players not to spam in TB just to hit someone at 30M. Spamming had been done by foe and ally as well. even Masta spam me on his last attacks. |

@ PP - hahaha VM is like you hide from counters cause you cant handle the pressure that you given up too much counters. and say not-smart thing that "Im going to Germany". Geez its modern time anyone can play internet games from a mobile devices, I cant even recall the last time I VM. |

The idea is to attract new bloods not complicate the game. I applaud players who spent $ to advertise the game, im done my part as well, i even try to asks guys from a FB game i played and they always says its hard to catch up.
You said it yourself Rag, a few people hit UW today thats almost the same thing before they implement the UW reward. why bother change UW? to satisfy a few group of people? Every time an UW goes off many loses resources which sucks for new player, you cant expect them to hopelessly hit a UW holder so that guy can rack up wins. |

Reading this thread brings back those fond memories of a few people doing nirv spams just to keep them low in the ranks, effective yet stopped at some point. Atreides, I am not one to complain, but so if you are still researching by now, how are you not maxed out. I mean no ill will but thats most all you would do besides build spams to hit high pr players and then have someone else help dp those attacks if you didn`t do well. I would have thought you would have planned a different attack method by now considering how wealthy you always were with your empire able to explore.
On the VM abuse thing, that has been done on both sides of the game, whether it be ally or foe, I doubt you can police that the same way a mod/admin could police cheaters in the game. I doubt the VM rules will change. |

Even when you go on vacation and VM across all servers, it is still considered VM-abuse in Atreides eyes.. So i guess anyone who has an empire here at GC that is more than a year has been cheating at some point by taking a VM. :D |
