This was a surprisingly well fought UW attempt, though timed precisely to coincide with the VMs of nearly all the opposition members. 50-75% PR cutting hits (from left field), tenacious nipping in-between and easily the third most detrimental artifacts used on me in the last decade. Truly, we were impressed. Props to Rag, Frozen, Groat, Phlat and most notably, Char. The mysterious player that refuses to reveal his true identity- Alone responsible for the Lion`s share of damage and artifact use, as well as breaking free of several retaliatory Historia spams. They honestly came within seconds of ending it, with just another push, my castle easily would of tumbled. Thankfully, my team-mates timely interference and my own blazing fast reaction-time, honed by seven or eight years of playing Maru, kept that from occurring. ;)
On our side of the Fence, it was truly a team-effort. I have no qualms saying that this was as much Infernal and AC`s victory, as it was mine. From staying around for hours on end, to lavishing portions of their ungodly artifact hoards, I owe this to them. In addition, Akubo was more than happy to heap in some damage and at one point, we even had the retiree`s come around. With Omegian saving my bacon (With a fighter spam!) and DM hopping on-line several times, armed with Artifacts and Vodka. Lot`s of Vodka! (He`s a premature celebrator, you see.)
Now for the awesome and the win. We won`t reveal the actual amount, but allow me to assure you all, that Anfit has spent more credits on Explo-UW`s. It was below 5bil by a fair margin.

Yes, now the record-holder by a year, for oldest UW. Nearly 7.5 years. :D
On that note, as you all know, this is the marking point of my official semi-retirement. Ten years of this game is an absurd amount of time. But more on that in it`s own time and thread. :P

99+ day(s) ago | Congrats Trav! I really wish I had been out of vm for this. I did get to see some of the really intense moments, and the fact that Loof`s first maru UW on slow, which was also a major battle, just got wiped off the winners list, it is nice that this replaces it. Good work. |
