Since I`ve mostly played as miner, I guess I`m definitely used to ships that have more hull/shields. I am really liking the change of scenery and everything, but I think there are just a couple minor tweaks that`d I like to suggest for the maru ships since it is more of an attack geared race.
These changes I`m actually only looking at the fighters, corvettes, and frigates. They seem to basically have the same characteristics as they other ships, but lack range and no retal.
If no tweaks made to their hull/shields, then I`d like to see at least a "No Retal" on at least 2of them.... Like terrans apollo corvette.
How about it?
I don`t expect much huge participation on this topic because there really aren`t that many marus, but hopefully that would only increase the likelihood of getting these tweaks done. Heck, that would benefit virals too to have a badass fighter to re. |

99+ day(s) ago | 2DPUGO i am happy to see you go maru they are a crazy fun race to play especially when food prices are high, maybe you should take a different look at their ships as a more defense style so after maxing you colonies that is when you switch it up to the defensive, if you manage to get free DP which is not to hard then research/dig for the time in dp and once you come out again with maxed cols its defense again. Set a goal for yourself to try get a full week of free dp at max cols if you do not enjoy going about it this way then just sit back and keep wishing for changes =)

99+ day(s) ago | I think maru ships are great honestly, pretty well balanced between build rates and lack of hull or crabpy def mods to make up for their long range and decent weapon. Bases are the only thing that other races really have over them, and it is a VERY annoying weakness. |

99+ day(s) ago | Yeah bull doesn`t need to be nerfed, there are several ships that beat it from even easily. Just from terrans herc, nirv, and garu beat it just fine on normal from equal pr and a few more can defend against it. |

99+ day(s) ago | Thank you for your thoughts and ideas, how ever we feel that the marauder race is fine and need no buffs. every race has smaller ships that generally go unused and giving them No retal would mean having to rebalanced them so, it wouldn`t be a matter of simply slapping no retal on them.
while yes the smaller ships are over shadowed that doesn`t make them useless there are just better alternatives that can be used.
though who knows what the future holds perhaps one day we`ll do something to improve most of the frigs vettes and fighters on the server. but at the moment we have no plans to do so. |
