What`s every ones thoughts on the new Kryo and Scorpion
No whining about how kryo has no missile damage, you have a starbase that has nearly a 1:1 damage to pr ratio that has 2/3rd`s of that damage in missile and yet another starbase that does plenty of missile damage.
i`m a bit worried about how hard kryo is to kill but. it is very anti Missile capital which isn`t necessarily a bad thing. also i`m not worried how hard it is to win, it`s a matter of how many turns of various ships it takes to kill it and how many turns worth of it they kill.
Scorpion i`m not as worried about but i`ve not fought it or used it personally so i have little idea how it performs in game. |

99+ day(s) ago | Kryo on Tb is a beast. The no retal is awesome, but the upkeep keeps it in check I think. On rt I really dont know. All the guards seem to make it less of an option there, but theres always the lyth if you want to kill guards. |

99+ day(s) ago | On TB where you have to beat the Kryo with capital ships the Kryo is very good. Basically none of the caps across the races do well against it. (except guards, but they are few.) As long as the upkeep is kept as high as it is it is tolerable I guess.. But dont lower it. |

99+ day(s) ago | I used kryo about 2 weeks straight. It`s great on turn based from what I hear but not really useable on rt at the moment since everyone is still guardian. I just replaced what I used to use kryo for with hoko. It`s slower and more expensive and easier to kill but I had no choice.... |

99+ day(s) ago | The new Kyro is seriously bad against the usual Guardian spams. It is fairly resilient but does about as much damage as a wet tissue against the OP guard shields. I actually wouldn`t mind this if the upeep wasn`t massively higher than it`s predecessor. Given it`s much higher upkeep and it`s poor performance I`m not likely to use it.
I haven`t tried the Scorp so I can`t really comment. |
