VardaFadir{DG} 99+ day(s) ago | Whats wrong with riding a giant lizard? If its good enough for Obi Won Kenobi its good enough for me. |
wingMut 99+ day(s) ago | Buy 6 months of insurance, get proof, then cancel and get your money back. |
forsakenwolf 99+ day(s) ago | here in Alberta (which is in Canada ) , the insurance companies make a killing , i cant go on my parents insurance because i am the primary driver regardless of insurance. |
GalacticMercenaries 99+ day(s) ago | Your sick !! |
Raistilin 99+ day(s) ago | Switching to riding a lizard will definitely save you on car insurance! |
VardaFadir{DG} 99+ day(s) ago | Did you know that switching to Geico could save you hundreds on auto insurance? |
wolf359 99+ day(s) ago | He`s in Canada. Im sure things are different there... |
PistolPete 99+ day(s) ago | Remember that you should have extended liability insurance on you car. I was shocked to see that some states only require 15.000 dollars coverage by law. You can easily do much more damage in a car. |
SPIKER 99+ day(s) ago | Here is something to think on . I dont know how things are with your parents , but in most states now you can stay on your parents insurance until you are 25 . So if they would be willing to do so it would be much cheaper for you . Just pay them the difference , ; ) |

Soooo, back to forsakenwolf, are you stuck with car now? I know here in evil America there are some car companies that allow you to return your car within a day or two if you are not satisfied... Although due diligence and research b4 you bought the car would`ve saved you from this. Hindsight is always 20/20 I guess.
im stuck with the car for now im submitting an appeal to their management staff but i doubt anything will come out of it |
wolf359 99+ day(s) ago | The same could be said for the little japanese ricers running around my town. Nothing wrong with hondas, kias, mitsubishis (they`re korean, i know, and my neon has the same motor as an eclipse) but i wouldnt trust one in a crash.
Now my neon, is american. Its power plant is not american, but the rest of it is designed american and is, like most american cars, made of steel. It HAS been in three major accidents, One was when i was parked and out of the car a huge dualie backed into my left rear door and smashed it in. made sense as it was the corner of the truck that hit the broad area.
#2 was when i was forced to a stop tryning to get onto the interstate because the not-smart in front of me didnt know how to merge and i was hit by another 4x4 in the rear. This time i suffered zero damage and the front end of the 4x4 was destroyed
#3 was when my wife was driving and she was crossing the intersection when some rich classy chick in a brand new 2011 nissan maxima hit the right rear quarter (keep in mind, `02 neon made of steel). The maxima`s front end was destroyed, was deemed her fault and my car only had an alignment issue with the rear wheel.
Steel > new sht |

Raistilin 99+ day(s) ago | Lol I grew up in europe, I`m aware of the current situation. However... I enjoy my very large, very fast, and very heavy vehicle. I cannot argue on a technical aspect as to the veracity of my claims but my common sense is telling me my steel bodied car with 440 BB engine would probably crush through the little car`s engineblock and turn it into a small crushed tin can. Again I cannot back up these claims as I have neither done the mathematical research nor have I gone around crushing other people`s cars.
tl;dr - steel bodied cars > rice burners |
GalacticMercenaries 99+ day(s) ago | i dont drive a shtty volvo i want to see a crash of a 2010 Chevy 4 door truck vrs a Renault Modus I bet you the Truck would win |

Charmander 99+ day(s) ago | Heh. I just had to react to the attitude that americans are so wellknown for:
"I want to abuse the limited resources on earth because i can afford to and its my right." |

Charmander 99+ day(s) ago | Anyone can afford gas in US. Would be fun to see what happened if prices were elevated to match european prices :P (about 8 dollars per gallon).
That said I do believe there are many other and better reasons for driving a fuel efficient car. One being that fossil fuels will not be here forever, another being that the use of fossil fuels may be the reason for the climate changes we have seen. And ultimately that we should aim at delivering the planet in a condition as good as possible for future generations....... |
