tbh terran ships look either offensive or defensive ... it`s overall balanced :p

but what i meant was i would greet any improvement to their racial ships (which terran wouldn`t) =)

So mod the Tyr with kinetic and put range at 5 or 6 and get rid of herc. Replace with Syn and now you got something that works with anything. Mod with small amounts of energy or kinetic to deal with nonsense.

Works well against TaureNs V. Agamemnon ;)

Terran is meant to be a balanced race neither offensive or defensive in nature. Its inherent weakness is to chemical attacks due to herc, nirv, and the p.class. tyr was moded with a small amount of kinetic which helps with queen/king/runner stacks. Like any race that has a weakness try stacking with ships that help against chemical like c.class and fodder.

Terrans no doubt need a slight overhaul, however with all these new ships (L class, D class, basically immune to missile, it`s beginning to take a step in the wrong direction making more ships outdated rather than in tune with the rest. Really, giving more ships less meaning. That said, it is not a bad design- just a bit over the top ;)

Well there must be a means of defeat somewhere. I was thinking this more like a super tyr available for paid accounts only.

Even with the hull being more glass now and the -35% to chem, 40,000 missile damage is beast.

I`ve had a change of heart about the chemical weakness, since all the weapons are missile (and strafez is immune) range isn`t a deciding factor.

Hitting a defensive stack of queens would be a legitimate risk, especially with the -35% Ionized Hull.

If you want to fix the hull to power you could double the power of the ship and halve the total hull. This will bring the stats more in line with expectations.

I also feel that a chemical weakness is fairly silly on a range 8 ship.

Okay remove the P. prefix and just call it Syn. Flows better and relates to the Tyr more.

This is the Terran race`s largest mobile missile platform based off the photon torpedo. Owing to the Terran nature of "bigger is better" we get Syn. She is the sister class to the Tyr and named so for Terrans utter refusal to back down or surrender.
Larger and more powerful than the Tyr, Syn has a more specialized role as a rear line defense and planetary support ship. Her immense size leaves her with little in the way or maneuvering capacity but she makes up for it with extremely long range (relative to similar vessels of her class) and powerful reactors to generate both shields and weapons capability.
Syn was developed to correct issues with the Zeus cruiser and the Tyr. Most notably the low hull rating and requirement for a larger than normal crew to maintain the reactor systems. Most of Syn is automated and advanced engineering was put in place to guarantee reliability and to lower maintenance costs. She requires no more crew than a Garuda destroyer.
The rest of the ship contains vast stores of raw material and huge automated factories that continually churn out photon ammunition for the ships weapons. Syn`s main drive engines are derived from captured Marauder technology which makes them very energy efficient and so Syn is highly self sufficient. She can fight for months on end without resupply.
