I know its not very detailed. Kinda tired atm might go through it tomorrow but I doubt it, The urge to write hits me at its own whim.
The epic tale of DeusFurore`s conquest of the galaxy.
Written from the point of view of a small viral child drifting through, connected to, and wholly aware of, space.
My people were not a part of the great war which decimated the Guardians and the Marauders. But when I drifted upon an old Kal-Zu-Al base and infected the databanks there I learned all about it, in fact I learned a great deal about all that was and is, aparantly the old research lab was self-automated to keep up to date with everything happening everywhere. And so it was that I also was not suprised when an old wisened face appeared after ten thousand years of non-existance. But perhaps we should delve into the man first before we examine whats happening right now.
DeusFurore was one of the four great commanders of his time. He was there for it all. From the origional taking of The Shields of Light (An entire solar system packed with experimental weaponry) to the formation of the Bastille itself. His fleet had the lowest mortality rate of any in the war. And as the three other commanders fell one by one he saw the need to unite all of the outlying marauders and force the galaxy to submit in its entirety.
And so when he assumed high command of maru empire he did what came naturally. He sought out and exterminated every living being. And he nearly succeeded. Seeing his chance for victory he amassed his fleet and flew on toward the final prize, A base so hidden it took the ruthless torture of ten thousand guardians to reveal it. A science outpost dedicated to uncovering the secrets of the Kal-Zu-Al. |

99+ day(s) ago | And so it was that deus severely underestimated the times of change, whereas before everyone was petty and squabbled this time it seemed people could actually band together and form a suitable resistance. His fleet was decimated after 96 terribly bloody battles. His empire thus subdued he was banished back to the lowliest part of the galaxy without any of his people to accompany him.
The colonies he had captured during his reign had a sort of sentimental value after that, A glimmer of worth from the much and dust. And so the instant he dissapeared again from this galaxy a worse war than before broke out, with everyone vieing for a piece. |

99+ day(s) ago | As his fleet approached it seemed nothing could stand in his way. He was even so aarogant enough to decend to the planets surface himself to lead the invasion. His forces stormed the compound, slaughtering any they could find, Mostly scientists and their families... This was no military outpost after-all. But he hadn`t counted on one thing, Desperation can make even the most timid of folk do marvelous things. And so it was that with Deus himself breaking down the final door at the lowest level in the facility that one little insignificant scientist changed everything. As Deus entered the room and raised his pistol to shoot down the cowering man, suddenly he lept toward the consol. A shot rang out and the man was hit in the chest, but in his last act he managed to push the activate button. Suddenly all of his people dissapeared and became energy based beings, While the marauder fleet dissapeared seemingly forever into the darkness.
Complete and utter darkness envelouped Deus. Maddening darkness. It took him all these years to assemble the huddled masses of his once glorious fleet, He gained much twisted power from the ruins he discovered along his way. He used it to further corrupt his people, making them more savage, more aggressive, more deadly. Finally after several lifetimes of searching he found what he was looking for. The key to his release from this hell. It seemed so simple, But it took several more years to mount it to his capitol ship.
Upon its completion he gathered up his warriors, and set forth. Tearing a hole in time and space he jumped his massive fleet into existance in the middle of the known galaxy. But if this new massive fleet wasn`t enough, He wanted revenge too. He brought with him one of the famous Kal-Zu-Al doomsday devices found in the darkness. He would return everything to darkness with him. |
