Just looking through the data that EE posted again...
I feel that terrans are just simply not good enough. Yes, they are supposed to be the newbie race and the whole jack of all trades master of none thing. But I mean, most of the people who play this game are terran, and although terrans got a decent boost in shiplist lately...they are still so behind on income.
I propose that we increase the agri modifier...this suggestion is practical for a few reasons:
It drives food prices down, which is healthy for the server in general (in my experience, higher food prices are always more detrimental compared to lower food prices)
It gives terrans (especially the smaller ones) much more money to play with! Just looking at how much PR terrans can build compared to other races makes me cringe.
Lastly, staff can easily set up a NPC bot to keep food prices at a certain range...this is probably easier than posting food since posting = undercutting other food producers and screwing others over...whereas in my ideal solution: food is kept artificially around 10...if anyone posts lower than 10, then staff bot will come online once a day and eat it all up! |

I`ve lived through times when food was extremely high (40+)
I`ve also lived through times when food was incredibly low (1-2)
None are good for the game. But unfortunately because of the way the game works food tends to be either super high or super low. It`s hard for the market to actually be stable. |
