They decide the best thing to do is to go home, steal the pie that`s being made for diner, and bring it back to the park to sample both and settle this once and for all. They both dash off, and being competitive, they reach home around the same time and are frantically making their way back towards the park. They spot each other, each on the same side of the street and approaching the crossing to the park. They start to run faster and, in a final burst of competitive frenzy, dash across the street at the same time, all the while carting around two tasty pies. As they are just about to reach the other side of the street, they are both mowed down by a city bus, each having their abdomen split and the contents of their guts spread across the road. The driver turned out to be an alien who was evaluating our species and had been convinced to try a quite nice blend of coke and PCP for the first time....
