99+ day(s) ago | But that`s the point exactly..I use starbases as part of offencive AND defencive strategy in certain cases and never really noticed maru not having one untill of course I play them lmao I forgot about collective having one of course. I was just wondering really cause I`ve already been in spots I wish I had one lol |

99+ day(s) ago | Agreed. Chimera, chiron and the miner bases are very useful in a stack. All other bases are close to useless to everything else but building PR. |

99+ day(s) ago | Apollo that thinking applies more to RT than turn-based. The Chimaera is decent now for Terrans.
I think the real problem is that building defensive ships is a losing strategy usually, it doesn`t give much flexibility. If there was a way to have starbases not affect your fleet power when attacking they could be interesting. There would have to be a penalty though, like X number of turns to `hibernate` your starbases. |
