  Petition for nerfs.  

Just a few ships that I think we should take a look at. I realize there may be some scrutiny- this is not intended as a flame war, yada yada. And really, I only have two suggestions right off the bat.

M. Chlor- Literally beats every collective ship as it stands. Not to mention almost all other ships of its size or class. And if there`s an attacker lucky enough to get by it with a win, much of the time it`s only 1 planet. I would suggest either a) lowering the hull a bit, b) giving it some weaknesses around the board, or c) giving it no retal/ no defense so it`s not as spammable. My two cents.

L. Topaz- Now, bear with me on this one. The ship itself is not too terribly off the wall, but the fact that it has nearly full immunity to missile when there are ships with ACTUAL full immunity to other weapon types has put Guardians on another level than other races. I realize that there`s plenty of kinetic/ chemical counterparts that can easily kill the Topaz, but realistically, those weapon types are well taken care of with nearly all other guard ships. Now my suggestion here would be to give guards their weakness back- since there`s really none. I know this suggestion might be on the hate bandwagon but seriously, it`s a bit much. Here`s my thoughts: a) Lower the missile mod. 60% even would still make it a killer ship b) Lower the missile mod. I was going to suggest lowering the range or hull, but on second thought it would still have 85% immunity to missile lol.

Anyways, there`s that. I`m sure there`s more to be said about other ships. Maybe even better ideas or something, so yeah. Cool. Also please don`t try with the hull/weapon to pr arguments. Officially nulled. lol

you get Li after you do act 2 mission 3 (pm an admin) research gives you Xe & Zen afterwards

K. Class if anything are under powered..they die from chem and missle..would be different if that was not the case. Sure they do better on offence but not much and defence lot more important really imo.

i don`t know always thought the Xe was kinda meh and Zens ok, but the pride is clearly the Li`s , plus keep in mind we do have to spend 25k turns for Li and another 25k for Xe and zen

sorry but unless your a guard don`t even touch the topaz. I`m sorry that we have a ship that helps us avoid being wiped by cap missile ships on agressive because thats what most do and its pretty hard to defend against.

Yea, I hate going up against chlor and Im a terran. but, you just have to figure a way around it.

Then again, immune ships dont mean a thing if you have intel on what they are building.

So, encourages stacking, but also encourages scouting is how I see it.

If you look back in the forum you will find posts where I adress this problem That are 2 years old 1 year old and 0.5 year old. They don`t listen. But u have to agree with you. It`s not the single immune ship that is a problem, but the fact that they got so many immune ships.

Anyway. Now they nerfed guard build rates compared to others so I dint think the problem is that severe anymore.

yes i`ve always personally disliked the survivability rate of the chlor.

I can see reasons behind changing the topaz too.

but it really comes down to how the rest of the community feels about them... i`m sure there will be alot of Miners and guard who may disagree, so it will come down to how much positive feed back these ideas get before the staff will choose to act.

i think chlor was fine BEFORE BR increases. i say make them 0% to missile. but this doesnt solve the issue of them murdering coll
