Now as some of you may know, gorchu is an interesting fellow on Normal server whose English is known to be quite.......interesting at times. Some of us have received replies that are either cryptic and hilarious, and at other times almost downright guru like in an almost Confucius or Buddhist sort of way.
Thus, I invite the GC community to post his wise and cryptic replies, and to send him PMs and post anything that is worth showing to the rest of the community HERE either for the purposes of comedy, enlightenment, or simply a cry for help in trying to figure out what the heck he is trying to say!!
In time, I or someone else will take the best of his sayings and words and remake this thread.
Again, i invite people even from other servers who don`t play normal to start talking to gorchu!! It`s high time this guy became a celebrity and resident GC guru despite his obscurity and relative n00bliness to our own n00bliness!! :D |

99+ day(s) ago | I petitioned some google programmers to take a look at the translation tool to improve it. They informed me they were adding a gorchu translation option. However they told me it might take a few years to get all the bugs fixed. |

99+ day(s) ago | Yea man, none of this is meant in any way to make fun of the guy. I hardly think it`s harassment for simply talking to the guy!! I expect the community to adhere to the guidelines when talking to gorchu. But if gorchu posts or privately PMs me that he is being harassed because of this thread, I will publicly apologize and close the thread.
I think he`s one of the community`s more obscure players and he should be better known!! So be respectful! This is all in good fun!! :D |

99+ day(s) ago | it`s very unlikely that Gorchu checks the forums. I understand the thread is not mean-spirited in any way as I`ve received many Gorchu messages in the past (none recently). He used to threaten us after he enslaved us, but what was funny was the translater he was using made the threat comical at times, but never understandable. So I know this isnt to mock anyone`s language skills. He clearly uses a translator which makes for some funny comments. Anyway, the fun of the thread only makes sense to those who have ever heard from him. |

99+ day(s) ago | Please. We know those rules only go so far. Look at your empire`s history. I have been suspended/blacklisted for only one of those rules (half of one really). But people are still getting away with murder if you ask me.
Ask if he cares, then we can play this jump to conclusions game. So far I see no gorchu messages. Disaster potentially diverted. |

Game : Things you may get suspended/blacklisted for
1. Using someone`s* account to induce DP
2. Using someone`s* account to gain planets or resources
3. Purposely transfer ownership* of planets to avoid counters
4. Constantly annoy or irritate other players
5. Harass players--------------
6. Exploiting a loophole or bug in the system for personal* gain
7. Transfering minerals via the market.
Note: * also applies to members of your Fed/Guild or same accounts on same PC/IP
Not only is this post offensive, due to the fact that you are pointing at his horrible grammar. I also had, and still have horrible grammer because english is my second language. I can speak it well, but when it comes to typing im not that great. Now this post is ethically wrong, and it can get you suspended, if the admin cared. |
