Well everyone, its that time of year again. Santa Moops is going to hand out free paids. However, I can`t think of a good fun way to do it, I don`t want to do PM`s again because I already did that and it seems too subjective. And a raffle seems too boring and lame. Any suggestions?

99+ day(s) ago | Or u could give it in a different way.. eg.. normally taxers like guards, virals or aminers get hit for borders.. why not eg give to a collective or maru (hint) who gets hit, but always try to be out of dp much longer than they stay in dp..
I would nominate myself since my slow is unpaid but i would rather see alphacentauri as a viral, maru or guard.. maybe it could spur him to have a remake of gc.. |

99+ day(s) ago | If I did option 1 then I wouldn`t do it through feds, I would just allow people to nominate any player, then players with the most nominations would get paids. If I did option 2, I would announce the times a few days in advance, I`d pick them 12 hours apart so most time zones would be eligable, then the PM`s the came in first after the exact time I specify would be winners |

Maybe do a mix of both?
i`d suggest announcing it...give it a few days...then go through the nominations and select. |

99+ day(s) ago | chaos random times, its still unfair for the fed-less people =\ plus there are very few feds some with like 2-3 members as said before. atleast the random time gives everyone a fair chance due to it being random lol. plus newer fed mates might not get many votes being new and all.. |

1) I go the nomination / voting route with chats / banners / advertising
2) I pick 2 times, 12 hours apart, the first 5 people to message me at each time win (10 seperate winners, can`t win twice)
So there`s an organized voting way to win, or a borderline random race to PM me first. Order vs Chaos. WHAT DOES GC WANT?

99+ day(s) ago | Well here`s my thoughts about the ideas. As far as a competition goes, I was hoping to give around 6-7 paids, give or take 2 or 3. In my opinion, it would take a very long time to get that many battles interesting enough to win a paid, let alone enough interesting battles to *win* a paid over another battle. If that makes sense.
The problem I have with the fed idea is that there isn`t really very many feds. And lots have inactive leaders.
I`m ALWAYS a fan of giving paids to new players (who have been around more than a week or so) or to players who have never been able to be upgraded. (no credit card, no spare money, etc etc)
I was thinking maybe a spinoff of the fed idea, where people could be nominated to deserve a free paid, and if people vote for them they will win one. I just don`t know if there will be enough of a response to something like that. I only got like 20 pm`s or so last time I did this. Out of the ENTIRE game only about 20 players asked for a free paid. So I`m not expecting a huge turnout here lol... |

99+ day(s) ago | The problem i see with the fed thing is well..not everyone has feds specially some tb players :S i did like the most interesting battles idea tho, like the most epic win from under or a counter from 4x that fails something along those lines...as for tb well, some servers are kinda inactive =\ but i do know some people play most/all so maybe have someone be a target and build out on and off who ever has the best stack (to promote stacking in game) or the most wins against sed person will get the prize. i know it might be alil harder for slower servers but still should be able to still build out 2-3 times a day maybe :S then the person who helps could maybe get a tb for helping out? |

Just not awesome for something like this, if I had bigger prizes, or could afford to do it weekly or monthly... then a raffle would be more awesome :P |
