black 2011-09-15 | | Beer Beer Beer | | So I am looking for some new beers to try. I can say that I have tried just about every beer I`ve ever been recommended and dozens more that I`ve picked randomly. Just wanted to see if anyone on here has any recommendations. I enjoy pretty much all brews, porter, stout, ipa, pilsner, lager, saison, etc. Keep in mind I am living in the US, east coast. So most small euro brews I won`t be able to get. Also, if anyone else here shares in my love of beer, feel free to message me or reply here for some of my favorites. Cheers |

YATYAS 99+ day(s) ago | Haverhill Brewerys Leather Lips IPA is another good one on the upper east coast. The bottle is also an eye full. |

black 99+ day(s) ago | Apollo, I live in Jersey, and our beer rep from hunterdon ( I manage a bar/restaurant) brought us some samples from Elysian and they were really good, but we decided to go with a local brew theme. And Nexus, Guinness is always a solid choice at a good bar, have never heard of St. Ambrosia but I am always a fan of Oatmeal Stouts, will have to try it. To return the favor, if you ever see River Horse Oatmeal Milk Stout, definitely give it a try. Its brewed in Jersey so I don`t know if it will make it out there, but give it a try if you see it. Also, Sam Smiths Oatmeal Stout is a go to as well. |
Nexus 99+ day(s) ago | My all time favourite beer would have to be St. Ambrosia Oatmeal Stout, brewed in Montreal Quebec, next to my second favourite, Guinness. Happy sampling. Not sure if you can get them south of the border though so good luck. |

black 99+ day(s) ago | Stella is good, grolsch I`m not a big fan of. Yea, pretty much anything dogfish makes is awesome. Have recently found a few other IPAs that I actually enjoy more. Smuttynose Big IPA, not their normal one, and Lagunitas IPA are probably among my favorites. Haven`t tried desperado before, will have to give it a shot. I just got a 4 pack of Innis and Gun, aged in rum barrels thats real good. |
FOUNDERS 99+ day(s) ago | desperado is a new fav of mine, might have something to with the fact it contains tequilla.
wife beating juice is alright too, think you might know it as stella artois.
i also like kronenbourg 1664 and good old grolsch. |
PistolPete 99+ day(s) ago | IPA is my favourite beer style. I lived in US for half a year and drank a lot of the IPAs that was avaiable. Dogfish 90min and 60 min and smuttynose IPA were among my favourites.
In europe you will not find many beers that brewed with cascade hops. Thats a shame. |
KingHippie 99+ day(s) ago | Ah, good stuff man. I`m a huge fan of their Pale Ale myself. |
black 99+ day(s) ago | Piraat is always a good choice, and I was actually at the pensacola bay brewery last time I was in Florida. They have some pretty good stuff, the brown ale is probably my favorite. As for the others, never heard of Ninkasi wing, looks good but I figure I`ll have a hard time getting here in Jersey. And Rot, I think I`ll pass on that one haha. Something about having to shake my beer before drinking it makes me a little uneasy. |

KingHippie 99+ day(s) ago | Our local brewery has some pretty rad beer. I don`t know where on the East Coast you are, but if you are into ordering it, I`d suggest trying Pensacola Bay Brewery.
If you do, let me know what you think. And if you don`t want to order from them, hit me up on here and I`m sure we could work something out for me to pick it up and send it. |
Rotkaeppchen 99+ day(s) ago | Chibuku Shake Shake |
FISTFULLOFDOLLARS 99+ day(s) ago | I love me the occasional Pirat rated 5 in the world :p 2008 I believe |
