  Food/Tax Hybrid Strategy pt 1

So food prices tend to be a very big factor for how well you do as an empire income wise. If you go one extreme or the other, you either make a fortune or you become a victim of your own success, and it`s all dependent on a market we rarely have any lasting control over (with a few exceptions).

But suppose you found out that you aren`t a total slave to market forces? Suppose you knew exactly how to prosper regardless of market conditions or even regardless of how you set up your empire?

Well, the great news is is that you can!! And if you give me a year`s paid plus a nominal $19.99 shipping price to copy and paste the strategy into your inbox, you can have this secret all to yourself and get a leg up on the competition!!! PM me if interested!!!!

JUST KIDDING GUYS!!! Since I`m such a nice guy, I will give this info away for FREEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

But since this info takes a bit to explain, and i`m already halfway through my space limit, see part 2 of this post for the real info. :D

Of course MD. As I explained in pt 3, "hybrid mode" is mostly meant for survival purposes and to optimize your income better when the market turns against you.

maybe we shall ban guardian for buying food and establish a new rule to ban buy those empire who buying up the food (such as rules to ban those buying up raw material)

reason:fund transfer or $$ feeding for guardian to be able to climb to high pr with their supreme build rate, personal, i think 1 guardian can manage 2-4 empire same time during the battle..

Hybrids stable? Yeah, but you`ll probably lose money in the long run. Never forget that.

And thor, if you read my guide, you might find out that you do not have to VM. It might even inspire you to go a hybrid route when it comes to infrastructure research, which is generally discouraged among strategists. :P

And that`s exactly why I write this strategy. It lets you know that you aren`t forced to resign yourself to one strategy. If you are making so much food that you can only sell it at 1, then you`re probably better off quickly switching to tax and then subsequently eating all the food you just posted at 2 that won`t sell (although finding the ore to do this is another matter entirely obviously).

Of course, the RT market tends to be in its own special category, and probably warrents a slightly different guide than the one i`m writing. Mine is more geared for turn-based, where the markets tend to be a bit more stable.

ive found im a victem of my own success to a cirtain extent.

I`m one of the biggest agri empires on RT atm making approx 5.4 million food a turn. This is just over 240 million food per 45 turns, or 1 bill food in roughly 22 minutes or so. If I play for a day and post all my food I make, I tend to flood the market with my own food at a price point and get undercut alot and thus not sell anything.

Currently however there are a few empires that are just buying out all my food stocks and reposting 3-5 per more for profits. Whislt this is a valid tactic and I get my sales, it also means that tax virals cannot afford to use turns and thus forced to VM, or restart (not likely).

No idea if this is what your going for or on about but thought i would throw it out there.
