Old Federation mates who made the game fun and who we looked forward to attacking as well. Tell the server who you miss and let us remember our former comrades.

I can even remember back when we decided to become allied feds which was one of the longest allies I can remember having. (was a good few years) Kinda miss having players like him around...sorry for the late post just been busy and away. |

Omegian 99+ day(s) ago | I am suprised you didn`t mention Deiloche, I really don`t recall teaching anyone anything in this game ... Given Deiloche has been one of the most behindytical people in the game we definately had our good chats hehe. |
{DrKsT}GuArDiAn 99+ day(s) ago | Exule- taught me game basics and my first fed leader
Demandred- taught me to play guard he is a legend and my mentor
DraconianParadise- taught me advanced game mechanics and how to do all the tricky underhanded tactics
Lots if others that inspired me in no particular order
Accord- love ya babe
Agm- his determination and love for guards was awsome
Moops- paved the way for the next gen guards of today
Others to but cant name everyone |
Brotherhood 99+ day(s) ago | well Grad Odvar was his name. Me and him started that fed with Exule..Remember the storyline and ranking we had all laid out? That fed was awesome!!. I recruited Ryvlin to the fed and he has kept it alive all this time =) |
Hopeless 99+ day(s) ago | my main man.. Kraven..(and his Minions) |
GradualIncline 99+ day(s) ago | I don`t even know who I learned from back in 03, lol. I just remember reading the entire manual before signing up to the game. I was answering other people`s questions from day one, and to this day I can`t understand how new players can plunge themselves into debt.
I never joined a fed for about a year after starting, and I never joined any of the big ones until I really started getting heavily addicted to the game back in, oh, 05? 06? Something like that. I`m terrible with names, but I`ll tip my hat to those wonderful fed leaders I`ve had in the past, whose names I have forgotten. (Vehement Judgment, still maintained with one member, I believe is the fed that actually got me highly active in the game, though I cannot remember the original leader`s name now.) |
Ragnarok 99+ day(s) ago | Yes, definitely a thank you to Omeg as well for teaching me a few things, even though now-a-days we tend to be on opposite sides of any given conflict. But he`s definitely been a worthy opponent any way you look at it. :) |
EvilAbadayos 99+ day(s) ago | you taught me a few tricks Omeg. |
Treize 99+ day(s) ago | Demandred. |
Omegian 99+ day(s) ago | I dont recall teaching you anything Aba ... Oh the good ole days of whom my mentors would be
Aergy(DKF), Knightzz, M|K, and Metsu they all gave me something new to look at or do. |
EvilAbadayos 99+ day(s) ago | ah good times...good times. Lots of people from tempest became really good players too, least those that hung around. |
KingHippie 99+ day(s) ago | Its a good thing Aba. I may have been pissed at the time that you were selling my fed off wholesale to Distemper, but in hindsight, it was all just another good memory of good people. |
EvilAbadayos 99+ day(s) ago | I don`t know if your comment about me is a good thing or a bad thing Hippy, though I assume it`s something about when I took over the reigns of Temptest back in 05/06 lol.
As for me, may people taught me things like Loof, Omeg, DM, Arch AlphaCent amongst others...i think even Freedomnow taught me a thing or two.
All in all alot of the oldbie on GC taught me soemthing of value. Also never stop learning in htis game, you can come up with some crazy stuff and think it will never work..but when you try it it works. |
KingHippie 99+ day(s) ago | And though they never taught me anything about how to play the game, I think special mention is warranted by the following people....
Kushan
Orion
Screwball
DarkMistress
Safe travels, wherever you are. |
KingHippie 99+ day(s) ago | I was young and loudmouthed, so I attracted other loudmouthed players. Somehow I managed to find myself in control of a federation filled with what would become (little did I know) the next generation of this games great legends.
Gollum (Maraudian) - continued to teach me the intricacies of low pr combat.
Angmar - Also helped with teaching me about low pr combat.
Sync0pe - He goes by a different name now, and I have no idea if he is still around, but he`s the one who finally taught me about high pr fighting once I finally decided it was time for a change.
Abadayos (Now EVILabadayos) - taught me that I should never control of something so important to someone who is infinitely better at this game than me... and he taught me the hard way. =P
There are so many other big names that got their start in that fed and I learned from all of them I swear it. After Tempest had it`s run, I went to CC, where my old mentor DraconianParadise was at. It was here that I met people like...
HoneyBucket - who, much like DraconianParadise, taught me a lot about how to be a good leader.
Badwolf420 - he might get upset for me calling him out now, seeing as how he is admin and all, but a very long time ago he taught me numerous ways to cheat my way to the top.
After that I left the game, returning occasionally to check in on things. I`ll say hi to old friends, and wonder at who all the names I don`t recognize are. Wonder if these new kids respect the legends like they should... It`s bittersweet to know that this game is still here. It should have died years ago, and yet if it had... well then... we`d all be lost to each other.
Anyways. That`s my story, preserved for posterity... for anyone who cares to read it. |
KingHippie 99+ day(s) ago | Yo thanks for the shoutout there Jammer.
I have been here on and off, under different names, since the very beginning. Treg and the Bronxeon wars are some of my first memories of this game, though being new I just kept to myself and stared in awe at the titans who were fighting to the death in the PR range above me...
For the most part, when I started playing I was very much a lone wolf and didn`t ask for nor recieved help from anyone for quite some time. I played a year or so before I ever messaged another player or said anything in chat. Eventually I went collective, because back when there were 500 active players on an average day they made serious bank. That is when I started meeting people.
EVILincarnate - For some reason, he consistently beat me. I lost to people, sure, we all do, but he destroyed me without fail. And he also played collective. I had to ask him how he did it. With his help, I became, along with Gollum (Maraudian) and Angmar one of the most feared low pr fighters on the server.
With this newfound skill and minor respect, I was invited to join the top ranked fed on RT at the time, AAOP. It was during my time here that I met my next mentor.
DraconianParadise - He`s the one that taught me that stacking is more than number crunching and combinations. Sometimes you could win a fight simply by having a stack so crazy that they`ll never see it coming. I remember he once said that there is not a stack in the game that can beat a C. Ares spam at high power. Do crazy stuff, he`d say.
He also taught me about leadership, and I used this to my advantage when I moved on from that Fed.
Then I started Tempest, which was in its prime the most socially active fed to ever be on GC... The fed discussion board usually moved faster than GC chat.
This is where I met the next series of people to influence and teach me.....
To be continued on next post..... |
UberPansy 99+ day(s) ago | The entire `cast` of federation Canadian Regency on Normal server, a decent group of blokes from just north of my abode. All gone now, rest their clusters. :/ |
