Ok ive reached my max lvl of patience and while continuing to try and remain calm im going to address the guardian br issue and build rates in general but first I have to do one thing that is vitaly important before continuing

Now back to buisness
Guard br can be nerfed and frankly it wont bother me cause if a guard uses his br advantage after initiating a fight it means hes on the run and prob spaming which also means hes very vulnerable to be countered from less pr and once the word is out hes spaming its blood in the water and all the more so when your higher up in the pr your stuck with what you have unless you drop or change out
Br = running = weakness and besides the guard ships that have the good br only garnet and agate are no retal the rest of the bunch have no ship special so its alot of pr goin down per ship per stack
Get my meaning yet if not here it is in a nut shell

99+ day(s) ago | Why stop @ doubling BRs? Why not just add a 0 to the end of every single ship`s BR (aka, increase it by 10 fold)
Rich empires would benefit too much from this change, and truth be told....spamming would probably still be extremely awesome. So what if queen builds faster, if you are rich and can just afford to spam lyth anyways, or...perhaps simply use the increased build rate of caps to spam the queens down...etc etc.
The only thing that could potentially happen with increasing build rates across the board is perhaps to make the ranks even more transient than they already are (on the slower servers). Is that what we want?
Also this change would probably disadvantage newer players. |

99+ day(s) ago | I do agree with you Rag with the doubling the BR across the board. Mainly cos I`m personally lazy as hell and either:
A: Don`t have tim to go for targets I want to attack
B: Just too lazy
Also though, as you said, if it`s across the board, it will not impact anyone. Only issue I can see is ships with a current build rate of an odd number that are worth alot of PR per ship (mainly meaning cap ships and possibly guards, I havn`t played guard in a few years so unsure there). |

Instead of talking about reducing BR, why not move the discussion to INCREASE BRs instead?
I betcha if you doubled the BR of EVERY ship (except guardian), the Guards would make a run for their money. :P
Actually, just double BR for all ships period. Trust me, it won`t affect game play whatsoever, and will actually make the game more fun and quick than it usually is. |

99+ day(s) ago | who said anything about the planets being over 100k being larges? I know some ferts, Viral single planet infests, edens. I think the only U classes not over 100k are Spaz (I hd a 28k one at one point), Rich and Dead worlds.

Guardian build rates is enticing enough to people for half of RT to be that race while the other half of the active players share allll the other races.
I would love to just see updates in GENERAL some good that everyone likes and some just to piss people off. EITHER WAY it shows somebody is thinking about the game and considering its wellbeing (admin/staff/stephen). GC wants attention!
I want to eventually UW (just like everyone else who is not guardian) and the noble guardian race is more like a virus these days just everywhere and killing my fun. Again, even some small changes to the br of the fastest building ship would require say a -10% to all of florites (quartz?) or both ships statistics would be SOMETHING.
another thing to consider is instead of changing guardian race, say increase BR`s of 1 - 3 ships of EVERY OTHER race so everyone can be happy!! I think this idea is something everyone can be happy with. |
