I`m posting hundreds of times with food @12 trying to bring the prices down. If you`re buying food, please don`;t hog the 100,000 posts as I`m trying to keep the starving masses fed on rations. Hoping there are food producers out there who are going to post larger amounts at lower pricing... |

I`d not begrudge selling at any price if the lower priced food was not manipulated and bought out to starve the game purposefully. But knowing empires are VMing and/or starving..and manipulating what little others can ration out, .... and ShadowKing wonders why he was recipeint of those MDs.... |

99+ day(s) ago | It is fair to say that the food scarce is a few peoples fault, but not to name any names at all in my post here i will have a little discussion about whats going on.
The food market got scarce to the core producers maxing cash/ not using many turns.
Now the food market stays scarce due to people taking advantage of cheap posts to sell higher " the opportunists" of coarse it is all apart of the game i am not complaining i like the high price food market, but it is doing more damage then good.
So yesterday i spent 3 hours building a fleet just to use some turns to post food at 12, which is still a little spendy but not with the current prices, and i been attempting to flood at 12 today to. The reason now why food is still high is because the opportunists have been buying all batches and reselling higher.
I will spend much of Sunday trying to flood market with food, attempt to balance this out. |

99+ day(s) ago | Pizza ... that`s exactly why i`m posting as much as I can at 12 in those small lots. Those that posted above 50 will either have slowsales or returned food. My posts are rations just enough to get you through until larger better priced lots come back on the market. I just wish i wasn`t the only Terran changing pop around to manage a small postive Ag production .... |

99+ day(s) ago | Sooner or later, there`s folks who will realize there is a lot of profit to be madeproducing food. I`m not an Agri Terran...make just enough to cover my needs and a tad bit more. So I`m taking the excess and posting it at 12. Costs me 4 to produce, I`m selling at 12. That`s a 300% markup.
I`m laughing all the way as I see ShadowKing etc buying up my foodtrying toget theirson the market to sell at 60+. So they are in essence giving me money, wasting their cash reserves, for me to keep posting small lots to allow some people to buy and survive.
Don`t buy at 60+ .... wait as I`ll keep posting at 12. Once Shadowking etc realize they`ll make good money (and more via volume) posting in the teens and 20`s, the market will be OK.
Meanwhile...how much more in your cash reserves ya got to give me ShadowKing? LOL |

99+ day(s) ago | hmm intresting..wish i could find the archive post from couple years ago...everyone had been warned when they changed miners income and virals income to tax heavy....now we have lack of min producers and too little food who would have thunk it lol...but really guys just use some ore and play..you tax guys made trilloins in months time..now that you stand to lose couple hundred billion you complain?!...now i see both sides i dont agree food should be able to go at 100..but a cap in place that lets tax make money no matter what is wrong... cap should be 50...but in meen time try restructering your empire tax guys...then food will build up again...tax should and is not garanteed like DK has stated... |

But you deserve neither with your attitude, thus you shall expect to see an unpleasant side of me, until you prove that you deserve otherwise.
TDK, this game lacks activity as it is, some tax empires might be on the verge of quitting already and not being able to use turns doesn`t help. Sometimes waiting for the market to recover is not the right thing to do, as some damage is already done that cannot be undone. I`m not saying that is necessarily the case here, but it is something we should consider. |
