So I thought of a fix, well somewhat, to the shortage of minerals. At least something that might cancel out the largest problems related to such.
The largest problem being that New players cannot find enough minerals to build ships. These players don`t need a ton of minerals, most of the wealthier empires wouldn`t even notice if the amount they need was taken from their supplies.
So two things we, as players, can do to help.
The first being don`t buy any small intervals \ posts of minerals on the market, leave those for the newer \ poorer empires. I mean really what is another 100k minerals when you have 10, 20, 100+ million already.
Secondly, we could all start randomly posting small amounts of minerals. IE 100k of each, ever day, or every other day, even once a week or so would help.
If all of the wealthier empires posted small amounts randomly and none of them bought any small amounts, there would almost always be at least some minerals for the younger empires to help them get started.
This would require the cooperation of nearly all mature empires on the server...... but I think it could really help. |

My rule of thumb right now is repost smaller batches and 10% of any large lot.
BTW...HB, I would say Shadow King needs a spanking as I`ve had entire strings of reposted lots taken. Let me know if you need some MDs. I`ve got a stack of `em. |
