  Teachers and Masters

I used to post a similar thread once a year near the end of the year for everyone to take time and reflect on the players that trained, molded, and made us the player we are. A time to gather around and remember the players of old who were instrumental in training us to play this game. My list of teachers and what I got most from them but not in any particular order.

Exule: first fed leader and first friend, spoke with him recently he`s doing well

Demandred: my guardian mentor who will prob never be allowed back. Learned how to really get a handle on playing guard and being a guard.

DraconianParadise: learned how to hunt, track and beat players better than me. And the fundamentals of pr mechanics.

Their are lots of other players that I learned from like studying stacking theory with agm and defence with Accord and others. I remember learning from omegion how a traditional stacking guard can be beat lol.

That`s about it, the forum was a little dry but id like to hear from everyone else.

Omegian taught me a good amount of stuff while he was in the UTU, and folks in UTU who were around back when I joined. I just sort of read guides here and there for the rest of it.

Of course, I only learned how to make c3s from scratch on my own.

If I`m forgetting someone, feel free to smack me around on PM. xD

To understand stacking was difficult, and took me awhile.
I remember AGM helping me, and even Blazed.

I`d like to thank anyone who has written a guide or created a resource for this game (websites and what not), as that is what I mostly learned from.

Knightzz came to my fed when I first started and taught me everything.

Him and BadWolf are the only ones I`ve ever really learned much from but I remember my old friends Yebise and Saga and the others from Blackstaff and Empire of Eros.

I give credit to those that are long past gone and remembered by only a few.

Demandred is allowed to play, but refuses. Understandably. But in case you were wondering, he is doing just fine. Living the California life and holding two jobs, etc etc.

yeah, I`ve been around so long I don`t remember my first fed leader. I learned to stack on my own, and learned the game on my own, with no help from anyone. As I`ve stated elsewhere, I read the entire manual before ever starting to play, and it served for the basics, then I figured the rest out from there.

Oh, and just because I`ve never chosen to be much of a battler, doesn`t mean I can`t fight or don`t know how, I just like making credits more :P

^ oh hey, i feel honored (: i remember haha, i was enslaving the server and u were one of my slaves P: and now we`re fed mates!!

Anyways, back to thread topic.

AccordEX: First real friend on GC, and great fed leader. Thought me the ropes and always there to lend encouragement.

Optimus: First ever fed leader. Gave me an awesome first experience to GC in IntergalacticForce, got my drive for a high win/loss ration from there. Sadly he`s rather inactive these days =x

And that`s about it lol.

mine really only relate to fighting:

requiem: told me to stack. =D

dangedYankee- helped me a bit more with my stacking strategy

FISTFULLOFDOLLARS- helped me learn a bit more about stacking strategy

i agree, the forum is pretty dry
