agriculture is a more viable income path than plunder in my opinion for the simple reason that it is stable and not based on blind luck. You will never be poor as collective if you take the time to research 40 or 50 levels of agriculture and then work on building your clusters. It`s a long road though if you try to build a quality cluster though, and once you get above 100k base pr you won`t have many turns for research after.

I personally have 20 housing in addition to the agriculture research I have, but I would trade 15 of those in a heartbeat if I could for agriculture research instead.

having a baseworld you cant cluster will give you alot of options to ensure you dont die

as collective can only use a U spaz , its better to have a U spaz rather than a dead / tainted colony , as collective are also a turn consuming race , artifacts are a very efficient path to reinforcing yourself in combat

for pure plunder its rather easy , pure housing infra , some kind of baseworld you cant cluster ( 2 land U spaz is best )

then fight , cluster anything you feel like , ensure you can rpotect the stuff , then when you get dp pop it all up and plunder , then repeat

or do it while fighting so that fighting also increases your pop and lets you plunder before you even get dp at times , you can alter the style alot but yes , the basic for plunder is

fight , make room , fight + pop &/or plunder at will
