Hello everyone both old and new. Its good to see this game is still around and allot of familiar faces continue to play. Although, my account was given back to me a couple years ago by Mauradian(A) I have been fairly inactive. Although this is my 2nd account my first one was created October, 11th 2003 under an old alias. Needless to say during this 7+ year time many things in my life have changed. I went from an internet addict putting 20+ hours a day while trying to graduate from college to a productive member of society working a 9-5 job; however, i always took solace that no matter what happen in the real world i could always return to my online home away from home GC. Although, i have had my high`s and low`s over the years here i have always cherished the relationships i developed here on GC both good and bad \**/
Although, i have never been away I do appreciate the fact that they let me have my old empire name back as i have been responsible for a great deal of chaos here during my younger years and i do apologize. However, I have matured a great deal since my crazy days and I see GC for what it is. Much more than a dying game or website but a fellowship/refuge of stubborn people refusing to give up on something they love and have invested so much time in. If only everyone in the world could be so noble.
As i was one of the first people to join this game i will stay here to the very end. I can`t promise i will invest as much time in this game as I used to as i now have a career a wife and life; However, I plan to be more active than I have been for the past couple years. I`m proud of you old timers who have stuck with this game so long and I encourage you new players to give it a chance.
