Brave New World

I didn`t have a real family to raise me as a child I grew up in a broken home full of drugs and misery. When I was eight years old I read a book called The Vampire Lestat. I read all the vampire chronicles by Anne Rice around 18-21 times each since then. I dropped out of school to take care of my mom who was dying of cancer and in those years I learned to speak, present myself, and function in the world around me by reading these books.

They were the only place I could turn to in a world of darkness and pain where I could envision a better place for myself.

These books were dark and twisted and sensual and so over the years after the only real education I got was from reading these books I became a lot like the characters in those books.

That is why my original gc name will forever be Khamon.

I am sure I read that book. But its 14 or 15 years ago, so I forgot most of it. Made some impression on me at that time though.

Ever since i read `Shantaram` i just cant find anything that pleases me better than that read but ill look it up, thanx Darkseid

read both brave new world and 1984.. not bad. maybe that;s what we are heading into with tech... with smartphone, gps, all personal data is open for all to track..

1984 and Animal Farm are definitely also good reads, however, it`s pretty hard to declare one the "best".

Brave New World very good. 1984 better. Animal Farm the best!
