So we`re thinking about actually initiating 2 month long DM`s

Turn Generation will be one turn every 4 seconds

we would provide a BM for the first 24 hours of every DM to kick things off then it would be removed.

But we have some things we`d like to have your opinion on. First off:
How long should DP last? In hours, 1, 3, 6, or 12?
How high should Turn storage be, 100, 150, 180, 200?
How many Members should a fed hold, 5 or 10?
Should you be able to switch feds or once you join/make a fed should you be stuck?

We might after the first one, depending on stephen for some, have some special themed DM`s for instance:

only one race is available, so and all terran DM or something like that
or possibly other idea, but these for now are tentative.

Also anyone found cheating on the DM server will have to atone for their sins with their other accounts. So don`t cheat

we might also give small rewards at the end of each dm to the account of the players choice, nothing major and what would warrant a reward is still undecided but probably the most basic things, top 5 in each field and top fed...ect.

It make take a bit to get everything going so don`t expect it right away

So vote on the topics above, vote here, one vote per person not account please.

No battle reports required for this idea.

I don`t think you should expire from DP more than twice a day especially over a 2 month period. A 3hr dp timer would be terrible, you sleep for a night and lose everything, not every player has the ability to donate every minute of their life to GC. Lastly this isn`t UC no one would be able to log of of GC for a few dp expires and come back with a nearly flawless defense :P

This is a great idea. Here are my votes:

DP = 12 hours
Turn Storage = 200
Fed = 10
Fed changing should be allowed.

Wee thats a cool idea SD and staff!

If the DM last for 2 months I vote for

6-8 hour dp
150 turn storage (I suppose paid bonus will exist)
Fed members: 5 a little low, 10 absolute max... If I should chose between the two it would be 5
Fed switch: Yes, but if it can be limited to 1 pr week or pr day it would be cool.

Based on this scenario

DP should last 3 hrs.

Turn storage should be 150.

Fed should hold 5.

No switching.

3 hours DP
High turn storage as possible.
5 man feds.
Allow creating/joining/switching for the first few days, then cut it off.

I like turn gen at 2-4 secs, so 3 rolls =D

Themed DM`s sound like they could be a lot of fun :P

im guessing we can vote here? well id say 12 hour dp im not really sure of that. 150 turn max and 5 person feds that you can leave/join at your choice.

*thumbs up to the caring staff at 4am...

personally i feel that since DM is kinda volatile environment, shorter DP would suit better... perhaps between 1/3/6...

turn storage should be highest... 200...

fed? i`m a n00b in this... but i feel 5 is better with the amount of players around lately...

since it`s a 2 months stint, i don`t see any harm in stuck at one fed...

all the best with it... :)

SWEET DMS :D :D :D :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

As for the voting:
- DP should last 8 hours (I know thats not on the list but it allows people to have a decent night sleep lmao), obviously if you want to come out sooner, go for it. Sleep is important lol.
- I like 200 turns in the storage, nice round number.
- 5 members per fed, nice and snuggly. Oh and fed war won`t be such a dong to deal with o.O.
- Considering how long the DMs last, you should for sure be able to switch feds if you want.

Question though, as for rewards would they be given to you on whatever account you want or would they be a bonus for the next DM? (or both)
