So we`re thinking about actually initiating 2 month long DM`s

Turn Generation will be one turn every 4 seconds

we would provide a BM for the first 24 hours of every DM to kick things off then it would be removed.

But we have some things we`d like to have your opinion on. First off:
How long should DP last? In hours, 1, 3, 6, or 12?
How high should Turn storage be, 100, 150, 180, 200?
How many Members should a fed hold, 5 or 10?
Should you be able to switch feds or once you join/make a fed should you be stuck?

We might after the first one, depending on stephen for some, have some special themed DM`s for instance:

only one race is available, so and all terran DM or something like that
or possibly other idea, but these for now are tentative.

Also anyone found cheating on the DM server will have to atone for their sins with their other accounts. So don`t cheat

we might also give small rewards at the end of each dm to the account of the players choice, nothing major and what would warrant a reward is still undecided but probably the most basic things, top 5 in each field and top fed...ect.

It make take a bit to get everything going so don`t expect it right away

8hr dp ( i have to sleep and have other empires to take care of while this is going on)
150-200 turns is good
5 member feds are good because some will quit and vacancies will exist
no switching fed ( or no switching after the first week)
bonus turns for empires that are paid
single race DM`s sounds like fun

@ Serpentofold - If you don`t have the time to login once every 9 hours, don`t play coll or maru. With 3 hour dp tons of clusters will be leaving peoples hands left and right, lots to attack and take anyway.

With a 3 hour dp system you can keep 50k land as a terran and still be able to sit for 9-12 hours not even including time where your out of dp but not quite being attacked right away.

I`ll bet a good bit you login once every 12 hours anyway, so no big deal there.

dp should last 6 hours,
turn storage should be 150,
feds should hold 5 member,
and you should be able to leave feds

So yea me being of course not only me, the first 2 ones that both stretched 4 or 5 rounds of 2 man teams was with Lambentation, and the latter Gronoria. And then there were a few other 5 men ones that i did with DM, grono, africa, and some others can`t remember everyone sry (possibly wingnut, agm, and such dudes lol)

Personally I have never played a DM.... I am not sure if others have played under the CC name.

Hey ShatteredDreams where you find that data for who won the last few DMs over the years, im not sure who the winner are but i dont think CC won that many DMs or DID THEY.

Wonderful discussion ya`all have going on here... not much I can add.... except that one thing I think you all are overlooking is that while 5 man feds are best for the server I think there should be one exception, I think CC should get as big of a fed as we want while limiting the feds of everyone else. I mean it`s only fair that the friends of staff members get some perks. Also I would like to play on an NPC account.... would that be alright with everyone??
