I just maxed out my MDs for something to do, since my arti stores were full of common, uncommon, and rare arties except for assimilated bases and minor gentes. Still trying to re-max out my stores since then. Haven`t been on enough during good dig times to get everything back yet.

Seventeen... everyone seems to think that way... yes, in a way it`s the safest way to keep your wealth...

BUT...

mineral`s price might be fluctuated... you might bought it high and had to sell it low... and it won`t promise you will get immediately your money once you sell it on the market...

so with that kind of info.. i`m still packing max MDs (and soon GDs) just incase... :)

a couple of months ago i was a slaver who had over 700bill. but i kept all my money in minerals and just kept a few bill outside for the very reason that slaves might try and be clever by destroying my money :)

i`ve used some of the GDs Stephen gave... but i used (and will use) it on "special" occasion... especially to the a "vet" who`s too "thick" to understand how i "love" to be enslaved since day one... lol...

enslavement should be max of 149% attacking power.. why it was changed to 199% with fed war is unbelievable

@grad: im wiling to help people who have probs with corian! come out of DP at some pr with a proper fleet and ill test my luck on you! of course, let me know so i dont burn my turns researching first

lol, on TBs I`m not too much of a powerhouse, so I`ll usually just make my income slightly neg then wait until my enslaver gets knocked down and break free, only case where that`s not true is slow, with corian, because I don`t have the credits, or empire strong enough to let me build high enough, and I don`t want to restart my empire and have to re-research all the ships X(

On RT I`ve got maxed MDs, I won`t use them if someone just enslaves me, I`ll usually just build up and break free, or in some cases I`ll make a deal to earn my enslaver a bit of money, then have them let me free. If someone were to enslave me, then punish me, I`ll crush them into dust. I`ve got the arti stores to do it. Thankfully no one has been foolish enough to ever do it :P

generally i hate the idea of being enslaved by force and you had to go 10x PR of your master to break free...

IF the masters are having PR between 1-5 mill PR, it`s not going to be a big issue... but when the enslavers are over 10 mill PR or even when it is impossible to break free with enslavers above 120 mill PR, that`s the main issue that i wish SFGC will do something about enslavement...

infact, IF SFGC is going to introduce "willing" enslavement, i don`t mind paying higher tribute to my enslaver... as long i`m "willing"... and of course, there should be some benefits for me to do so too... a win, win situation...

anyway... nowadays it`s simple... feel free to enslave me... but the moment i`m login and see i`m still enslaved, it`s time for me to retaliate... it`s not only MDs... there will few others that i`ll throw in too... i`ll make sure it`s "worthwhile" to enslave me... ;)

that newbie vm enslaver should be restarted and banned!!!!! loose 33% of the battles cause of that moron... anyone ever seen him outa vm??? lol

well for slavers.. i used to be one myself and back then i felt how uneasy it is too be enslaved.. but me being terran for most of my life here in GC "being enslaved is quite natural for me" there are a lot of ways to minimize tribute however your daily activities might somehow be affected specially if your purely commercial or tax.. VALJA has one good way to counter it.. lol :)) but somehow im pretty much fine with it coz as terran its one of the consequences..

And as someone just wrote, slaving and then VM is just poor sportsmanship.
I think if someone goes into Long-Term VM (more than 5 days?) then all en-slaved empires should be Free !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
