yeah, I`ve been enslaved on slow for ages, meh so what? As MD pointed out, at least it`s only 15%, suppose that empires could pull a Stalin and take all of your food and food production to force you into submission as he did with the Ukrainians. That was 100%, quite a bit more than what we enslaved have to endure. Also, in pretty much any nation`s history that I can think of in my tired brain, whenever a more powerful nation gains tribute from their weaker counterparts in exchange for not slaughtering them, the more powerful nation does not give money or resources back if the weaker country is having hard times, that`s just a Bad Idea, so why would you expect something like that in GC?

That being said, I don`t like being enslaved, and would never enslave someone myself, but it`s part of the game, and there`s no point complaining about it, especially when you`re asking for changes that would take Stephen.

(P.S. sorry for the history blerb, History major specializing in Eastern Europian history, and tired enough to talk about it)

Collectives should be able to liberate enslaved empires by replacing the slaver... and then get a percentage of new fleet stacks when collecting tribute :-D

The beautiful part of "Slaving" as a whole is that it`s so easy not to be enslaved :)

Change your race :P
Slaving races can slave or be enslaved = equal opportunity for all :P
Its part of the game - hence ITS PART OF THE GAME :P
Allows opportunity for federations to cooridate and take down opposing slavers - team building :P

Just some random thoughts :P

meh, just be glad slavery doesn`t take more than 15% of your income >_<
