Planet type Rocky

See the name of the planet is E.0635? Well when i go into manage colonies, this is what it reads.

E.0670 Border Colony Rocky 3 111 50 66 68 851 Terran Metal

different name. the numbers are off. and it not just for this one, all the ones i am exploring right now. Anyone else noticed? Or do i really have to much time on my hands?

Keeping track of colonies by the discoverer/clusterer, that WOULD be pretty interesting... especially considering 4 of the planets I have right now are at Loyalty 3, 3, 1, and 0!

hey... grantweep might be right... my HW is H.6xxx... in the url it`s stated 255_6xxx...

my latest planet is E.4xxx and in the ulr it`s stated 2752_4xxx...

i guess frm day one of SFGC until the now the planets have been explored should be around 27 million ++... lol...

it`s possible to trace the age of a planet/cluster by looking at the URL.

That`d actually be really interesting... if when planets where explored and clustered they were stamped with some id of the empire who explored/clustered them. You`d be able to tell how planets circulated and stuff... just a little daydream for those of you who like data behindysis and things like that. lol

Well HB...if people could put names for the planets ...and they need a name but I might have it already, I`d be happy to let them have what mine would be called..and I`ll come up with new names. I mean, who wouldn`t want to have planet`s named `Flashy is the Man!", and "Flashy ... my hero!" and "Flashy`s the best!` ??

I`d be nothing but willing to help another player out in that regard ...

yeah just an oddity you get use to after a while... would be nice if we could rename our planets.... though then i suppose people might end up using the same name and it could be a problem.

it has been that way for a very long time... due to changes of planet`s numbering system by Stephen a certain long time ago...
