Why hasn`t the UW gone off?

You`re right, my bad. Still, pyth or pike is a formidable ship in any race`s hands.

Rag D class is not transferable as a UW reward...

it`s not about the resources, that`s the thing. It`s the fact that with a ship like pyth or D Angel you can be pretty overpowering as Terran or Miner. Collectives can easily benefit from having a Cap ship because of their buildrate issues, virals can have a D class ship they normally wouldn`t be able to get, and a maru ship has low maintenance so it fits right in with a guard fleet if you wanted to be done with UWing for good.

meh, I`m a 2 planet empire, I`m not exactly losing a lot of resources right now, especially after the first one that went off while I was gone on the weekend.

maybe it`s because all of you guys are in VM, lost your clusters or quit. Not really our fault.

Also, there is no excuse for only 30-40m pr of a UW going down. If it had been me doing a followup UW after someone like say Ching the viral, you woulda bet that DM and deiloche with their current empires woulda done 30-40m pr damage just between the 2 of them, if not more.

Considering that no one even bothered with BTC for your UW as far as I could tell, the effect woulda been the same either way. But that said, you`re prolly right.
