They should have an informal ban on starting a UW while another one is going off on another server.

every uw so far was in my fed and i promise they didnt plan this. just worked out that way. and kraven had max cash max resources dineros wouldnt have kept him down

No valid person has stated that these UWs were set off intentionally at the same time IMO. Maybe it is simply because of the upcoming updates some people want to do the UW before the changes.

it is always the same. Pure bug abuse to start UW together on different servers. All those accounts involved should be banned from the game.

First I would like to say that last night was the single most fun night I`ve ever had on GC. The ranks were definitely alive (even if there were only so many of us) and the fight was on. Inevitably though it did become less about the UW lol.

That being said I`d say the UW had great timing, I`d go so far as to say it seemed like he exploited perfect timing :P. We stockpile artifacts for a very specific reason, I don`t understand how anyone can downplay that (I notice most people are in agreement that that was too bad). From what I understand that glitch is unintentional (just like all those other glitches).

AGM is right in saying that even without arties the UW could have died, but we just didn`t have enough people online. I disagree with you guys about our strategies which while they changed slightly as things got more desperate, the fact of the matter is hitting a ship that he can build about as fast as five people can kill is not the effective way to approach it.

Sorry if my post is kind of long but I had a ton of fun last night and wanted to say what I thought on what had been said. My congratz go to the defenders.

with such a great job by the defenders im pretty sure this UW would have succeeded, even with functioning arti`s mainly due to the opposition being busy irl. But it would have been much more fun and probably drawn out into an explore UW. Had we been able to buy out all the minerals and MD all of kravens cash away so he couldnt rebuilt, it would have made it much easier to pull him into an explore UW. Non-functioning arti`s across different server`s is a bug. within the server that pulled off the UW is intentional. But of course this is just my opinion :) grats kraven

Im sure you building hoko to max power would have killed this UW instantly :P

That being said I completely recognize the fact that many of the big empires from the opposition didnt have time to play. Had this UW gone down during the weekend it might have turned out differently, but in planning a UW you ofc go for the time where the chances of success are the highest.

Despite all the observations listed below I enjoyed fighting the UW. There was some good cooperation among historical enemies to fight, there was good information posted and updated, and there was a sense of excitement. While I don`t like to lose (who does?) I still feel satisfied with my effort and the effort of those who participated. Thanks for the challange wingnut!

As far as i can tell this UW is going to be successful for a few reasons.... the day the UW started was to the beginning of the work/school day. Many of the Opposition were busy with real life, which gave them smaller windows of time to fight the UW. Also there was more Defenders than Opposition it seemed like, staying at the bottom and dropping from above 2x`ing where they could. Plus the times we built up each time was late at night and alot of us rather sleep. As it is i been up a full 30 hours currently.

Also this UW wasnt hard for Kraven to pull off. All he did was have to keep 50 million power of even stacks built and keep building Hoko. Most of all attacks from the opposition came from under 50 million power, if we had time to build to 150 million power the damage would of been far better and the UW would be dead. Heck i can build to max power with just Hoko, no biggie.

This UW is undeservered in my opinion only cause the artifact glitch, i say the next UW that goes off where artifacts cant be used, should be void.

grantweep is right in that the opposition made some huge mistakes and not having enough of their big players having the time to play.

The opposition was dedicated, but quite frankly...they didn`t know how to oppose a UW properly in my opinion, that is the SINGLE biggest reason why this UW succeeded.

yeah, lets knock out wing`s dummy stacks...the ones that he can rebuild cheaply and virtually free of cost while leaving his hoko...his most important ship alone.

I just came back after 5 years and I can tell you a few things. This uw never had a chance of being stopped. Maximum amount of players on line, 34-52. Artis disabled? Give me a break its a no wonder that for a power uw kraven never really dropped bellow a bill in pr. I remember an all out Artis war on everyone involved and players on line was always just above 100.

Sory I side with HB here, and for all hall that have shi.t to say about botting I know most ur names from back in the day so I`d stfu if I were you.

oh well, took you what, like year`s worth of VM to UW. Kraven, so in essence the server probably owed you this one. you only have to UW for 48 hours, where as to keep your enemy from UW is a full time job
