LordaeroN UW Normal

To all those accusing Lord of cheating, as far as I am concerned, he did not cheat in the slightest. If he did rush his UW to get it off before the changes were made that was a smart move and he should have. However I don`t even think he did this. He planed this UW for a long time based on the stats that were known at the time and had every right to set it off before the changes were made. It would be different if staff had announced that all people with sb`s need not use them until the changes are made, but they didn`t.

If you do think he was cheating, as has been announced so many times before, report him to staff. Do not flame on the forum. If you think it should be a public discussion as to whether or not it was cheating then say so and do it in a mature fashion. Lord is a fellow player and we should try and show respect towards one another, even if you truly do not like him or disagree with his tactics\strategy.

I understand the frustration felt by those against these uw`s and the feeling as though they cannot stop them; but changes are in progress and we all need to try and keep a civil tone no matter the level of frustration.

Again, congrats Lord and supporters, if you can`t tell my previous statements were only jokes trying to lighten the mood.

Well you know that his explosion will only help omegian`s UW for a few hours. xD

Way to go big Lord, well done there. Next time just don`t cheat quite so much please o.O
And if you cause any more power outages I`m seriously coming after you, that`s just not cool.

So what you`re saying is that Lord caused a power outage for several days in your area just so he could steal you cluster and do a uw... there is no low too low for this guy to sink too. *shakes head*

It is NOT my fault, but yeah he`d have had a MUCH harder time without that..
My power going out for 5 days is not something I can help, there are no internet cafe`s or anything out here. Same reason ned has my c3 that`s even better on ut :(

I think you are missing Fubars point. On Normal the turn rate is such that to get enough arties to fight a UW you have to dig a disproportionate number of turns compared to fast or ultra. It leaves little turns for more than research or exploring borders.

That`s why I play ultra.

Yeah,my UW definitely wins the "most boring UW ever" award.. Instead of being full with battle reports my UW thread`s turned into a chatroom lol.

well, no one is forcing you to NOT go on an attack rampage. It`s a TB server, there are trade offs - can`t have everything in life :P

keep in mind that lord spent over 6 months building for this UW. surely you coulda spent 3-4 weeks during that time to dig a little, giving you the BTC edge needed to fight seem. see what I mean?

There are some assumptions being made here in the discussion of fighting a UW.

All of you sound like you are assuming that a player will spend most of their turns building infra or digging to have the money, resources and artifacts needed to defeat a UW.

The rut this game has fallen into is a handful of players spend all their time trying to repeat past UW`s with reward ships and the rest of us spend our time rebuilding from UW`s and trying to prepare to fight the next.

Honestly that becomes very boring when every weekend I cannot go on an attack rampage when I see a target rich environment because I need those turns for digging.
