Has a decision ever been reached about making this a playable race? I thought there was talk sometime ago about making it playable for UW folks, but I never heard anything of it.

There were DarkMaru tests carried out by admins and guides as far as i know... then there was the RT server race event (created by Maraudian) in which chosen players (not guides or admins) were able to play the DarkMaru races as leaders of the different races...it all died during OD's Maru Uw shortly after.

What about people who play tested dark maru on RT server? Were they only tests by guides?
It will be good reward for marauders as they are notoriously difficult to UW with(unless those with lakko of course, but this will be soon changed)...
Considering how some people still think UW-ing is a piss easy job right now,I don`t think it`ll be playble any time soon.
A successful Maru Uw was going to be rewarded with that playable race, the idea died!
