Disabled
With deep regret we have disabled this feature mainly because a small group of players are abusing this feature, mainly using it to destroy federations (termed as anaboliking). We are currently working on GC 1.07 that once done will offer more support for federation, so stay tune.

I think it`s safe to say Stephen prolly forgot about this? Me thinks he needs a nudge. xD

LOL i`ve never abused it you twit, Treize/Ishamael and PLC abused it with the vote carrying over from another fed, the feds i anaboliked i actually spent a ton of time to plan, and get a lot of people in on it, capturing planets etc. Of course if you mean that it is abuse just to take over a fed to disband then yea i did, but i don`t see it that way...!

i reported loof for abusing this future back in 07... dubt it get fixed anytime soon

Stephen forgot about GC... he only remember to update the server... PERIOD...

Well, not exactly, since he still bothered to update the firewall.

Also, I was referring to GC 1.07 and "more support for federation" as forgotten projects, which I think there should be more support and options for feds. Even something as simple as being able to add a picture for the fed or something, or ability for fed leaders to transfer leadership to someone else, or leadership revert to someone else if he`s inactive for 30 days. Couldn`t care less about voting itself.

I vote we don`t bring this back.... Voting is a broken system and heavily left open to abuse.

Plus when i saw Stephen`s GC forgotten Project, i thought you meant GC itself or Missions.... not something that was disabled cause it was abused and still would be if it was re-opened.

I think that they should just reenable elections and allow people to use anabolicking as a strategy. It works in other games that revolve around this sort of alliance. EVE in particular is notorious for the way people infiltrate and rob or destroy in game corporations.
