Food prices on normal server

All the people who are flooding teh market with large amounts of low cost food should be suspended. They are making it impossible for others to sell food to make money. And, that is thier goal. Put amounts too large to be bought out so those needing money from themarket can`t make. $5 for food is too low and not conducive to trade. To those are doing I hope you are banned from playng forever. You are bunch selfish brats.

Well, if anyone is interested, I just took out rogueassissin cuz he went inactive, and he was a food terran. I think I`ll be able to help the food situation a bit. xD xD

actually I buy food on normal i just said that for the LOLZ because its a silly topic and I wanted to get you more annoyed facing someone you thought was market fixing lol

It`s possible to create an artificial shortage by hoarding, however one concern I can think of is that excess food will be lost if it exceeds storage space.

IF people were buying food the price would go up not down.PPricews going down is caused by flooding teh market with food. So it sin`t hose buying the food. Its those who wantthe prces and offer food at that price.

I also suspect that fuzzy and DM are probably contributing their fair shair to the food price reduction as well, since marus with large planet counts go for food if I`m not mistaken.

I sense the heat of flames in this thread. o_O

Who said there was any price fixing going on? If anyone hasn`t noticed, we have a severe lack of taxers on the server and a gigantic collective or two on the server (not to mention a med sized terran or two who specializes on food, if not more). My money is on the collective being unable to sell food at higher prices and is forced to sell lower and lower, not on any particular cartel of "price fixers".

meh, I`m researching mining infra, not housing, I don`t care what the food prices are :P so you an argue all you want, I still won`t be adding to anyone`s credit count any time soon :D
