Food prices on normal server

All the people who are flooding teh market with large amounts of low cost food should be suspended. They are making it impossible for others to sell food to make money. And, that is thier goal. Put amounts too large to be bought out so those needing money from themarket can`t make. $5 for food is too low and not conducive to trade. To those are doing I hope you are banned from playng forever. You are bunch selfish brats.

Edge yu are one of the price fixers. And, if i had the money I would buy your food and everyone of your fixer borthers and resell it at a higher price. I would love to take al your cheap food from you just so you wouldn`;t be able to ruin it for everyone else. ANd edge just proved there are those out to fix the prices. I just hope someone ele comes along to buy you and your cronies out.

I understand the frustration, food used to hover between 7-10 when I joined, now it seems to be stuck at five forever. But I don`t depend on it for revenue, it`s just a little extra cash for me. And I tend to agree with everyone talking about supply and demand, I`m sure the prices will rise again.

But yes, right now all those months of food prices between 12 and 15 that made me so rich back in my collective days have evidently caused some taxers and others to restart as food makers, and now that they`re all explored and researched up it`s coming to bear on the market. It also doesn`t help that Ultra, one of the biggest taxers on slow for forever, also UWed a couple months before I did.

Incidentally, as counter-intuitive as this sounds, this is the perfect time to start an agri empire and spend the next 1.5 years just researching until prices go back up again.

Euge wins. It`s called Supply and Demand, and happens to be the counter to the potential profitability of Agriculture. This is all common sense and Knowledge. Sheesh.

around 10 is reasonable price and there are people artificially keeping the prices low. Actually, Founder i am working on increasing tax revenue .
Travvivian, just because you can plan long term doen`t mean everyone else can`t. I don`t need to be at the top of the rankings in 10 days. Btw, 99% of the people o earth have never taken a single economics course. It is actually, illegal to artifically keep prices low or high in the US as uit considered unfair business practice. AndThat leads to monopolies. OAlso, price fixing by compainies is also illegal. Companies can`t colude to fix prices. It must be market forces not a few strong food empires that copntrol forces. And, when people sell 999,999 food at 8 then 48 hours for 7 ect down to 5 or 4 it is because someoen is price fixing. And, I could do price fixing too I Have enogh food. But woukld rather sell it for money and use the money.

it`s true though....selling food is terrible for all turn based servers at the moment. It`s ridiculously hard to setup a tax based empire, especially on slow...takes a whole MONTH of turns just to put loyalty on one planet :P i don`t blame food for being low at all....
