Ok people it`s time to vote on these idea`s if you would pls submit all your votes to the empire PollMeister on RT. this will decide which or all of these shall go through. just copy paste the format below with your choices

1) Lakko Version one, with BR of either 4 or 3.
Lakko version two
or Lakko the Redesigned Concept.

2) kyro upkeep reduction (y/n)

3) Livid upkeep reduction (y/n)

4) lyth upkeep reduction (y/n)

5 Chlor build rate reduction and Epidote build rate increase (y/n)

in a format similar to this pls

*note the changes to hoko will go through, and Chlor and epidote is a package deal, you can`t get either or.

I won`t argue that posting your vote doesn`t have an effect on voting (however low, the greatest pull would be on the few folks who are genuinely undecided), but I kinda doubt most people here are purposely trying to influence the vote one way or another. Self interest is a stronger influence here than "herd mentality", and that is pretty subjective and dependant on how you think the changes affect your play style (either as an a miner player, or someone who fights them).

I agree with Ragnarok on the font, the only reason why i posted my vote here in the first place. Either way public voting seems so much nicer and more fun. Next time something important can be put in PINK font so we can see it, purple is so dark im not going to bother strainning my blind self trying to read it.

I hope they take all the votes, then decide to do whatever they want anyway, just because they don`t have to report who voted what, lol. Good thinking staff! You rock! :D:D:D I fully approve, and it ends the discussion because everyone will think it`s the will of the masses. That or I guess they could go on what people voted, but where`s the fun in that? :P *goes back to digging merrily*

Firstly, this is still an "enlightened absolutism" because it`s a privately owned GAME run by paid staff and volunteers. Even so, it doesn`t stop them from taking a SURVEY to get opinions or feedback from the players who care, and communicate that they do want to hear from players which is the bigger benefit from doing this at all. The fact that they`re doing this SURVEY also means that they don`t care either way how this ends up and that staff is largely undecided. If they wanted, staff could go ahead with the changes regardless of results.

Think of this as something of a dictator being nice for a change and asking the opinion of the "people" what they think of a new policy change before it takes effect. ^_^

oh, there is one ... someone with a degree in psychology or behaviour-an4lysis?
humans act totally different in a herd then by themselves. In a herd they become not-smart: non-critical, ignorant followers of the mass... so people tend to go with the flow :)
by adversing your votes, you influence the votes of others.

i don`t doubt someone here could explain this phenomena more profound and substantiated.
but not that anyone cares

ShatterdDreams, it might help if the instructions weren`t in purple font and "pollmeister" was hyperlinked in the OP like in your post. Maybe big white or red lettering in found 30. =P

Then again, if people are sending their votes to Pollmeister and advertising their vote on the forums, i dont see the problem.
