Ok. Here is something I don`t understand. What happened to the small fodder? Did they faint at the sight of war, or what?

Barracuda Destroyer 12 12 0
Sting Cruiser 16 16 0

Pike Destroyer 16 16 0
Eel Fighter 10 10 0

Y`s fleet

Strafez Queen 408 408 0
Hercules Juggernaught 6 0 6
Nirvana Dreadnought 15 0 15
C.Cancer Cruiser 114 99 15
Tyr Dreadnought 15 1 14
P.Thor Destroyer 112 0 112
Small Strafez Fodder 3,258 3,258 0
Large Strafez Fodder 874 0 874
T.Empereur Battleship 26 0 26

As far as I remember the attack counts as flanking, so if the pyth had hit tyr instead of fodder the tyrs would have killed some of the pyth.

Yep, I missed that. Thx. The F.Swords died in the 1st wave from Pyth retaliation, leaving the Pyths with an unused attack. To be fair, the ships ithey choose to attack should be allowed to respond, but I don`t think they are. Or are they? These cases don`t come up very often.

since the swords died during their attack on the pyth the pyth never attacked anything in round one so for it`s attack during round one it picks one random stack to attack which in this case would be the fodder, goes to show you it can be risky leading non-retal ships
