Just because there is not a rule against something doesn`t mean you should do it. Just like there is no law against sleeping with your best friends girlfriend, but does this mean that it is acceptable?

And no Ender, I don`t hate you, I just hate the fact that you built up high and vm`d, after we fought so hard to reach you, finally had you in our sights and then you took vm. Sort of a pet peeve of mine. But i don`t hold it against you personally, I don`t hate the person, I hate the action. But I will work to forgive this action and hope that it does not happen again. Once again, enjoy your trip, I hope you have a blast and I`m jealous. We`ll have a welcome home party for when you get back =)

hmmm... I really don`t see the issue. To the best of my knowledge there is nowhere in the rules that it EVER mentions anything about any restrictions on where you VM. If somebody can prove me wrong and point it out, then please do.

But seeing as the only issue here is that all the sudden fewer people get the 200% attack bonus at the top, it appears that all I`ve done is make the server a little more competitive and interesting. Your welcome.

(and I`ll be kind enough to let you know that I plan on jumping directly back into VM from a internet cafe somewhere in Europe for the remainder of my trip there. I will be getting back August 9th, my Vm will expire shortly thereafter. Any haters can mark that on their calendars.) :P

Spuds, Fresh and Fuzzy... don`t blame yourselves, the destruction of this uw was inevitable. The universe has spoken, especially now that he vm`d making the universe that much more determined to prevent any chance of success for him.

So since we can`t get anything implemented by Stevie or staff to penalize vm abuse, such as in the top 5, to avoid counters, or to hold clusters... I have written the Supreme Court of the United States, as well as the United Nations; I am trying to get it officially illegal with a minimum penalty of $10,000 and 3 years in a federal penitentiary.... for first time offense anyways. Third time I am pushing for a 3 strikes rule where on is to receive 15 years to life.

Luckily for Ender he has committed the offense before I could get this pushed through. I do have many very powerful friends, but these things take time; I am expecting a vote to be taken by the end of the year.

Yea I didn`t help Ender really by restarting a week before it was to be done...

I like how you start out with the maximum penalty, rather than just making it an offense in the first place.

Ender did build up for a UW, then Fuzzy and I both deserted him for fun in the Sun at the same time. I know that I`m not known for fighting or even knowing how to play this game but I do have the cash reserves and arties to help someone try to pull it off. I apologize to Ender for leaving you hanging right before your big trip, and as for the rest of you Take a Hike! (I know Ender is)....

lol, nothing`s ever gonna get done about VM building. My suggestion was to permanently blacklist anyone that VM builds. This would be harder to enforce on RT though, for obvious reasons.

That`d be a step forward, but it wouldn`t fix the problem of actual VM builders, it would make it easier for them cause they`d be hidden and we`d forget to babysit them xD

It would fix the top 5 issue though, that`s why I think its at least a step forward...

I see... Well maybe they should just put people at 1,000pr when they VM and when it runs out they appear out of DP at their original PR?

Its not that it helps the vm`er (unless they are hiding to UW at an opportune time)
Its that its annoying as hell to the rest of us, if we don`t babysit him every other week when his VM runs out he`ll build higher and UW. Or hit us from 2x pr

In addition, it raises the PR of the top 5, thus making it harder and more expensive to utilize the 2x attack bonus.

That`s why it annoys us lol
