I am a scout doubter... i don`t even believe in using scouts for exploring... i just build 100+ mil fleet and explore... best way to go for sure...

Lol it`s funny how you can read things and take it multiple totally separate ways, reading your post again it does sound sarcastic but for some reason I thought you were serious the first time. Still an interesting discussion imo.

I can`t believe there is a serious discussion going on here about which scout to use when making defensive stacks! How about you use a different kind of ship, like a feckin` Starbase or something cool like that ( :

yea v2 are prob the worst ship to use really with a 1:25 hull:pr ratio, however the v1 has a 3:1 hull:pr ratio making them fairly good

I`m noticing the V 2 has 1 point of hull, with a hull that awful you need a nearly impervious ECM shield like the strafez runners. Taking away even 5% of the runners hull, to approach that of the V2s` 95%, makes the ship a poor choice for blocking missiles.

Use Viator I instead of Viator II. It has actually pretty dang good hull.
