Im just wondering... a reward is given to empires doing a UW because they blow up a (supposably) rater big empire. How about all those rewards Stephen has provided during the years? 10% bigger land mass, special christmas bonus artifacts etc that old empires benefitted from. Should they be removed too? I never heard you complain about those things..... but hey... they benefit you.... maybe thats the reason..... hmmm.... who said hypocrite?

knossos: I cap spam, Semi spam, or do whatever it takes to beat your fleet anytime :P

And Atreides: all the n00bs you send to us, from DotV, will never do any UWs with us. Dont worry. :P

hey slow server has been under complete domination by MIK for as long as i can remember, but you don`t hear us complaining about it.

we actually try to do something about it called planning, team-work, and coordination. like if DotV actually was able to get a decent artifact reserve and coordinated an attack on the high ranks, then you might actually be able to do something

it`s because he`s wrong about the UWs/accusations which is why I am posting? I couldnt care less if he quit, but knowing that he quit because of these false information...I feel obligated to tell him that things are not the way he sees them.

Right, but it`s not his obligation to listen you; he obviously disagrees with you so why not just leave it at that? He like you is entitled to his own opinion. Also, I don`t think I was ever complaining to you about anything, if that`s what you were saying in your previous post.

@knosses, that`s fine...spamming is part of the game. Although i would much rather get rid of dummy stacks, anyone can spam and I am fine with it. however, don`t complain when ur not getting any action in the game because you cap spam all the time. I just don`t bother hitting you. atreides is explorable so its not like he`ll bleed clusters if I keep hitting him, why waste my time?

90% of the posts here are against atriedes, give him a break. It doesn`t take 5 people repeating the same remarks to get a point across.

10k planet + 1 ship in exchange for loads of artis and huge income empire. *cough*, yeah, that`s gonna really mess things up.


atreides: battling with you is not even much of a challenge. you just cap spam all the time.

I would hate to see people leave under these delusions, but if you are going to it`s 100% your fault. You guys might have been able to stop my UW if you tried harder anyways, idk.

this is about balance competition like it was before, feds can swing the balance. i can understand players banding together... staffs, UWers, student in university lol. but this UW bonus hurting competition and more players are much interested with this bonus, no matter what it takes. no years of clicking like vet do but go for the UW rewards. a new way of building an empire lol.

ive seen players.. pretending to be allies with us, or even joining us or allied fed or neutral fed (arnwulf) to get their empire going (we control the lower ranks) then switch fed and betray us. if only they had joined the Edens from the start then i would still had respect on them. you know who these players are... =) its getting homoer each year lol. plus only few empires willing to battle against me... they rather hide up there hehe.

plus i dont think we can still recover the ranks with these UW bonus, they just keep getting stronger. adding betrayals, buying out the market, throwing historias to several empires putting a fight, freaking events screwing us, PT, etc. theres no point staying here... gonna disband DotV and perhaps ask allied fed to disband also, save my allies from being 2x once i quit the game. and to those players who run this game.. have fun with your GC life.

grantweep i wasn`t talking about the uws as they were down to planning ie artifacts and such and me not being in a position to even get in 1 hit on your uw. big hits can take down a uw faster but repeated constant small hits are more than capable of ending a uw.

im talking about dominating the ranks and being in the better position to 200%. i dont mind though as i like being the underdog and winning battles from under pr against an overwhelming number of enemies. i would rather have many targets than not many.

the successful UWs have more to do with good planning, than lack of opposition. My UW saw enough opposition, but I planned for it ;)

They dominate because all the opposer`s left or joined them and now not many ppl start fast empires and those that do join them. when i joined Dotv they were 1 fed then 2 and now 3 plus the feds who stay out of there way. so it will remain this way like Rag said until many more ppl join and build up or untill they get bored holding hands and living in peace and fight each other, which is not likely to happen.

I guess that is what happens when a single group of players dominate the game this badly for a period of time. We are called cheaters. Didn`t the void use to control the ranks atreides? as much as you are my `enemy`...i would hate more people leaving because off the UW`s that we are doing.

(And benefit the game in the process I might add)

Also, if you think it takes being a staff member to dominate this game, why not become staff yourself and see if it`s true?

Unless of course you`re accusing Badwolf the admin (or people capable of giving bonuses to people) of illegal favoritism...............

Again, if you think it`s true, maybe you and everyone else in DotV should volunteer for staff positions and take over that way.

Atreides, if the rankings had over 3000 people over 5000 pr, none of this would really be feasible for a small group of players. It is because the player base on GC is so small that a group of 4 or 5 players working together well with maybe token support from others is enough to dominate this game. The UW bonus is nice, and maybe 3-4 players who manage to win multiple times on the same server might get some ridiculous ship advantages, but that doesn`t mean that they`ll manage to overpower 2 or 3 skilled players no matter how skilled they are themselves.

Face it, this game is tiny, and partly because stephen no longer puts any serious effort into advertisements anymore. If stephen wanted to start an affiliate program where you get money every time someone buys a paid if they clicked your affiliate link, maybe we could get something done.
