Miners should produce CG`s not consume them... booo tax miners.

GC miner is the only way i will play miner...being a mineral miner is more of a joke to me since mineral generation is more reliant on the cluster lvl than mining infra...of course the infra helps...but why not have 200+ in cg`s and get 4 c3`s you will produce cg`s which are a rare commodity and almost always sell on any server. and you`ll still make more minerals than you`ll ever need.

i`m not saying it`s better than going 100% mineral but there`s no harm in diversifying, it`s not like your going to be poor no matter which of the miner income paths you take or any combination there of.

but alas some people don`t like the challenge

Oh, and I actually don`t care too much about this. I still throw up hundreds of millions of CGs all the time, and still produce my own supply quite fine.

well, yeah, compared to the other methods it`s a joke, however, you`re saving the money you would have spent on food due to your lower pop than if you were tax, and it gives you a reason to go after high land planets and use the land on your planets, which you don`t for mineral miner :P

I am not a pro at this game or anything, but the first style I tried when I started this game was CG miner, it`s a joke. You have to buy materials to make stuff you can only sell for 4, granted 1 material can make a lot more than 1 good but it is still a very bad income choice given other options to Aspha Miners.

Buying them doesn`t really help all that much either. You buy them for 4 and they are used by your population for 5 giving you a total of 1 credit earned per good. The whole consumer goods system in this game is fail IMO.

/feels bad for anyone that actually listens to Angst and restarts as a CG producer.

meh, I was selling billions a day last year because I got ticked at the food prices and decided to have some fun with the market. I think I ended up selling over 100 billion CGs before going back to tax a-miner, and I only have 50 levels in industry. :P So 80 is plenty....If you have land to build on.

Oh, and no, I won`t go back to that existance. I like my income the way it is thanks.
