Workout Music

So what kind of music do you prefer while working out?

Personally, it depends on my mood.

Most of the time I like hardcore music, bands like Metallica and Godsmack. This type of music helps me harness my anger which allows me to fine more strength within myself. Especially when I am lifting heavy weights.

Other times I prefer mellow music, like Radiohead, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley... this helps me find a groove and get into a zone sometimes. Especially while doing cardio or endurance exercises.

And sometimes I just find music distracting and I can focus better without any at all.

Depends what im doing, when im running or on bikes i like techno, Progressive attack is an awesome song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WSBv8RgemE Also, some songs like Stronger by Kanye and lose yourself by Eminem are some of what i play

A couple songs that come to mind by Godsmack are Bad Religion, great for lifting, and voodoo.

Depends. If I`m lifting, I prefer highly aggressive music. The Exploited, and Hate Breed come to mind. Whilst doing Cardio, I like a nice beat to pace myself to. Industrial Rock like KMFDM works beautifully here.

i dont work out but i think id listen to disturbed or mudvayne or tool or maybe some white zombie when im doin it O.o and some muchroomhead :) maybe some classical if im in a bad mood like i always do if i have chance anyways

Rise Against, Godsmack, Atreyu, Mudvayne, and other such bands.. rock, heavy rock, metal all that is what I listen to when i work out these days. Reggae when i go to sleep and underground rap when im just kickin it drinkin or what not. I use pandora radio since all my gadgets just refuse to work properly.

Yeah good call with the techno... never really thought of that. Anyone know of any nice and angry techno \ trance?

usually techno, trance, or dance music something with a monotonous ever evolving rapid beat.

when i`m in not such a good mood then any thing that makes me want to blow up the world.
