My career here at RT started in MK, about 2 years ago. It lasted a couple of month, and then I dropped out again. About 1½ year later I felt like playing at RT again, and I returned. I played around with my a.miner empire, just to realize how awesome mineral miners are, but at the same time getting more and more frustrated how RT were sleeping. I decided to leave my fed to try something new. Not long after this I read this post from Loof!

This inspired me, and I thought with myself that MK lead by loof would be the perfect fed for me to do an UW. I asked loof if he wanted to resurrect MK and let me do a UW there, and he was keen on the idea. From that point MK rose rapidly from the ashes.

Since bloodraven did his UW, RT has been more alive than ever. It has been really enjoyable to be part of the rivalry between my old fed CC and my new fed MK. I love the smacktalk that has been going between these feds.

And now to what it is all about. I want to thank everyone from MK for joining the fed and supporting this UW. Mostly consisting of new empires I am amazed how fast we became dominating at the server. Special thanks to AmericanMinestery, PosterusScienta,Deletion, Loof, SibirianGun, AGM94, Evilspike, Lordaeron, Seifer and Nedflanders - You've been doing an outstanding job! Thank you guys!!

Outside the fed Keltikelti, Enderwiggins, Deiloche and Blackangel did a lot of good hits against CCers before the UW, and that really helped this UW on its way. Thx for the effort you did.

And you few guys that decided to stay neutral. Highly appreciated too!

Yep you put the reistance together really well, when the defenders had to sleep. Regarding the buildrate event. I really wish it wasn`t there. And if it wasn`t because i was tired of waiting for stephen to end his magic, I would not have started this UW under these surcumstances. When you got a fleet at 1 bil you dont want your opponents to build faster. Or let me put it this way and go to the other extreme. If stephen had come up with -400% buildrate and i were sitting at 1 bil PR, i think i could have completed the UW without defenders, if you get the point

Very true. I had few, but very dedicated defenders. AGM really put up an epic effort in fighting the whole server alone last night, and managed to keep you away from shooting too much. When Posterus, seifer, Sibirian and evilspike were able to fight together the server couldn`t shoot at me at all. A shame we have to sleep too from time to time. And loof, Lord, AM and Deiloche who one by one sacrificed their big fleets.. Really a good effort.

First Congratz Pete! You worked hard for this and deserve it. I apologize if the following seems long winded.

I partied friday and saturday away so the only time I really had to participate was yesterday. I logged on to find you still a little above 950mil pr and though there were some disorganized attacks it looked like AGM and a few others were keeping the serious stuff down.

So i went onto MSN and got those I had together and they brought a few more. Viva la resistance!

I have to say for the 13 hours I played (started at 21 hours left) I was amazed at our momentum. First getting hitters past the defenders and trying to keep ppl like seifer and the ever persistent AGM down was hard, but I think a lot of defenders had gone to bed assuming all was well.

We also had ewpleasedont and Archangel communicating via pm`s (Archangel your pro man, you helped with so many tactical decisions and did a ton of damage) and helping with the hits. First it was 100mil pr killed, then it was 200, then the lakkos weren`t on top and we were picking at dummies. Everyone was focused on the goal, and for awhile there with the build rate increase it seemed like we had it.

Alas when you came back online when we had finally started bringing you down the ranks I had my concerns. People had begun going to bed and there was this gray period where everyone was planning on leaving around the same time. I guess I kinda guessed that when I went to bed a long with BW who was offering guidance in the convo that it might not get done. Pete was just a little more dedicated than me (I had school).
it was amazingly fun and I will be writing a lot about it in the history I have. One thing to note though is that while the build rate made me build faster your defenders who already built faster than me simply built faster at a bigger margin. And the fact that one dp allowed you to base 50mil pr.

I`m not saying the event didn`t help us do all that damage, but you did get something from it

congratz man i`ll habe to say though we gave you a run for your money, plus it didn`t hurt that you had some dedicated defenders

Despite half of CC being in VM I think this UW had a very active and good opposition. 60% buildrate didn't help the UW in any way, nomatter how people try to argue that it had no impact. Starting out at max PR and only loosing 150bil fleet in the first 24hours, made me confident about the project. I knew things were far from won, but I did not expect to be shot down by more than 250 hits during the night! I have to admit I haven't looked through them yet - there are simply too many. Lol. Got hit every 2 min for several hours. Gradual, Genghis, freshfish and Raven were the main hitters from low PR. You did a really good job. At higher PR Archangel, Raindeth, Fuzzypenguin, bladeliger, Chess, squaks, aacra, kyril ewpleasedont, Acheron,backoff. Sorry you are too many, and I haven't looked the battles from the night through. So I probably miss a lot names. I have a feeling Archang3l may have done the biggest hit. Ewpleasedont managed to base me as the only one, when things were safe, and fuzzypenguin got the last shot just before I activated (I got my PR back to 66.666.666 :P). Ghenghis did soo many hits that I cannot count it, I think he did the most hits. Rabies, CC and collective kings. You pulled off some fair and good resistance. Thank you for making it very competitive.
