A number of empires found that the hyperspace tear isnt stable, this is apparent with the observed hyperspace tear effects fluctuating effectively disapearing for a couple hours yesterday. Scientists has managed to send in a probe into sector 58 during this tear fluctuation. Based on information sent back it seems there is a vast army of space-aliens on the other side of the space-tear. The galactic council is split into a two factions on what to do with the space-tear.

Choice 1: Warm and peaceful greetings to the aliens in hopes that they will consume the galactic toxic waste & junk from our nuke reactors

Choice 2: Develop a hyperspace shield in an attempt to close up the effected area, let the aliens starve.

I am sort of thinking this is a carefully disguise poll for the inclusion or exclusion of NPCs of collective/marauder/dark marauder origins lol

no... no... this is all wrong... there is an alien agent that changed the shield to peaceful gift...

yeah... that`s more plausible reason why it changed frm shield to peaceful gift... :P

well...i try to put in the shielding but for some reason it goes into peaceful gifts....they do show turns tho lol

ha... i tried donating to both and not only is it broken (or doesn`t work for terran) after about 500 turns im still at "Peaceful gifts so far 0 %" ... but when i pick "shield," then "go".. it shows "peaceful turns taken."

I put 250 turns in peaceful at Ultra. And it doesn`t add up there as well.

would be nice if turns could be scaled down from 1k on RT and decease depending on how slow the server is

1000 turns seems a bit excessive to donate on TB servers...that`s like 3 weeks of turns on slow, for example :P
