Just reminder that if you are just starting or even been playing a while, strip mining C1s and C2s for ore and plundering and redoing the whole process can make u pretty good money.

Ore is like GC gold!!

A few easy steps:
1. While in DamageProtection, build enough exploring ships to find 25 planets in 25 turns...
2. Cluster them all together in to a C2
3. Put all ur citizens into mining infra.
4. Use turns (maybe exploring planets for the next C2) until alllll the ore is gone
5. Plunder C2
6. Repeat.
7. Over and over :)
8. Sell ore on market.... 100,000 ore is 1BILLIONDOLLARS... yay

Thanks, EW, for the `heads up`. Hadn`t really tracked the ore price on the market -- thought the 10K price _per ore_ was clearly an error. Have been trying to upgrade the quality of my planets -- this strip mining strategy lets me go through a lot more planets looking for the real keepers. G.

this is helpful until you`ve gotten a bunch of infra research. I mean, I`ll still strip mine, but I also make over a billion credits in 45 turns, so I strip mine just because I can, and because I like having ore :P

yay thanks

If you are just starting on GC and found this info helpful, go ahead and post something here saying "yay thanks" or something of the sort
