Food is too low ;(

yeah, there was a period there where food was 1-2 per, and I hit max credits, then decided to take pity on the food producers by buying out the food market, then posting it all at 7 again. I spent days buying out all the excess food people had, losing hundreds of billions of food and thus credits in the process, to the point where I had lost so much, and all the food producers were out, that I was then buying food from anywhere from 20-100 and reposting at 7 to try to rebalance the market. Now I just leave be, much less of a hassle.

Months? Try over a year, and that was well before masta.

You shoulda been there on fast server when mastakilla and I made so much food wouldn`t sell except between 1 and 2 for several months, and both of us make so much food that we can`t keep more than 3 days of turns of it in stores (thus the constant need for inventory turnover).

I`m loving the food prices. Was barely making any money when it was at 20. :P

You obviously didn`t play at the time when food on RT used to be at 2-3 per and barely anyone complained.

between 12 and 8 is decent. can still roll in cash that way.

not long ago tax empires didn`t like the prices and you food producers gloried in it, and now you complain because some of us VMed, or changed their empires to not have to rely on your high food prices, and the prices dropped like a stone. I`ve even had requests to buy out the food market to a certain amount, then repost, but I`m not going to do that, been there, tried that, and it was a pain, and a lot of lost credits. Right now the food is at *checks* 8 per, which isn`t bad, tax makes money, food makes money. I`ve now shifted my empire back to full tax, and am eating up a lot of food, and I`m sure others will too, so just wait it out, I`m sure the food`ll go back up, it always does.
